Hey i know this video is super old but i found it very reassuring. Im wondering, when you went in to soothe her for the 30 seconds did she stop crying? Or did she keep crying while you were soothing?
Hi! It’s okay, that phase of trying to get her to sleep will be burned in my brain forever 😅 she didn’t ever really calm down when we went in. If anything she got more upset because we weren’t picking her up, which was so hard in the moment.
I’m so sorry. It is sooo hard. Since making this video, I had another baby and it was much more difficult the second time around. If you have Facebook, you should check out the group Respectful Sleep Training/Learning. They had a lot of useful information when we were going through it. I hope it gets easier soon!

She was 15 months old! She is small for her age but had plenty of room in the bassinet. I can’t remember her height at the time but she was just under 20lbs. It would be perfect for a 7 month old 🙂

Hi! We're traveling to Turkey in several months with Turkish Airlines and got our 1.5yo toddler her personal seat. Do you know if she'll need a car seat for that?
@@tahafarooq5824 so we ended up buying Wayb Pico car seat for that trip. I believe it costs around $380 now. However, no one ever asked us to use during flight. Our daughter was seating in lap during take off and landing.
Omg I am so glad that I came across your video! My husband is also Turkish and this is going to be our first flight internationally as a family of 3 with our one year old in about a month! Thank you for posting, I was able to visually see inside the plan and what I’ll be working with during our flight! We are taking a travel stroller but idk how to go about with our car seat! Can I rent a car seat in the Turkish airport without renting a car?
Oh that is so exciting! I hope you all have an amazing trip. I searched and searched for videos of the plane before we traveled as well because I felt so intimidated to travel so far with a baby. The bassinet seat with the extra leg room was totally worth it for her to be able to have the space to sit and stand at our seats. As far as car seat, I'm not sure if it's an option to rent the car seat alone but I would definitely call the rental companies and ask! We did the car rental with seats for a day just to get to our destination and get car seats there because we didn't want to travel with one. Best of luck to you and your family with your travels!
