No offense, but all of you moving from California has ruined our Phoenix! It is become the land of the overpriced, people are finding it harder to find employment here, as well as being able to forward to live here. Also, the way that people are voting here for the policies they want to see in place are the same policies that they ran from. Don’t make our Arizona California. I’ve lived here since 1984, I have watched Arizona grow by leaps and bounds and I feel sorry for anyone that moves here because you’re not going to be able to afford to live here anymore. You talk about the rents being high here, there is high now as they are in LA. $3000 for a studio apartment in some cases? That’s not affordable nor is that sustainable. The Colorado river which we get most of our water from is drying up. How do you think Phoenix is going to sustain without water? Let’s use Vegas as an example. If it wasn’t for Lake Mead Las Vegas could not exist.we are in trouble in the southwest when it comes to water. We will not be able to sustain the rate of growth much longer no matter what anyone says.
In Phoenix az the heat island effect Isn't caused by asphalt and concrete ut is caused by air conditioners and swimming pools, daily watered landscaped yards and shrubs and trees Research a traditional desert environment You will see that the humidity created by the pools and landscaped yards create massive amounts of humidity when traditionally there was none,. Now your air conditioner puts out massive amounts of heat to help keep your house at 80F Go stand by the fan and feel the air that it is pumping in and around your home. Now multiply that by 7 million,. Your automobile also adds to the heat for it puts out over 200 degree temps everytime you start and drive it,. Plus the number of people,. You add more people you add more heat,. So Arizona would have bearable temps if you got rid of the people, the autos that they drive, the air conditioners, the swimming pools, the landscaped yards, all the daily watered shrubs and bushes,. Beyond that phoenix might be livable,. But life in the desert humans need to adapt to the desert not the other way around,. That's what we have been trying to do and it don't work Look at the native creatures that survive in the desert,. They are nocturnal,. They live down in the ground, not build 2 story homes,. But humans we enact laws to keep you from making noise between 11 pm and 5 am,. Which is about the only time where you can function out side without worrying about heat strikes. Makes no sense,. From the 1990 to present they say that an average of 184 people moved here daily,. Look at the incarceration numbers during that timetime
Beloved Please educate us about HOAs in your territory. Do they have unlimited power over homeowners? We seniors don’t want to become homeless as a result of sudden dues increases that HOAs have the right to impose upon homeowners without a cap. HOAs can foreclose on your home faster than your mortgage company can, right from under your feet. How can you help us as a realtor find HOA free communities so that we can consider surprise? If you don’t respond we will understand your hands are tied.
