Nice and neat there mate. Did you do the cable running in yourself? or the site doing that. Do you use cat5 or 6 for IP setups? I tend to just use cat6 thesedays as it's not much bigger than 5,, and give the scope for future upgrades later on (like some sites that decide they want upmteen camers "somewhere" and a PoE switch can be added to an existing feed.
Cheers mate top man. The cables were run in to a point. Then I just had to do a few bits to get them in to position. I tend to run cat 5 e on my jobs unless the customer specified.
looks great nice tidy install im thinking of personally installing either a dahua or hikvision cctv system on mine and my wifes house when we buy one are they relatively easy to install
great watch much neater install compared to the adt ,good to see the old honeywell galaxy panel probably not the most user friendly panel compared to the texecom but just like the texecom a very dependable panel
great video as always awsome upgrade , i prefer a good traditional hardwired system ,when me and my wife buy a place of our own im planning to install a hardwired alarm system
good view i enjoyed it just starting out myself, doing it part time and oh boy is there a lot to get used to! great effort though, you've just gained a subscriber
Im a installer myself been using the risco secuplace wireless alarm which sadly been discontinued. Was considering pyronix enforcer till i saw this system it looks fantastic. Also the sensor you put in the conservatory is it a dueltec. Many thanks and great video.
Hello Gary thanks for the message. I have been using it for years now. The ricochet technology is brilliant all devices talk to the panel and to each other which is good. Also with the app and the stuff you can do on the Cloud is brilliant. If you want me to get the rep to come see you I can drop him a message mate. I think I just put a PIR in there on that occasion as it wasn’t all glass but other jobs I have done.
@@tfsecuritysystemsltd3998 Thank you so much that would be fantastic ill message you after the new year give you my details. i do install some of the texecom equipment and yes i,m aware about the sensors talking to each other which is just amazing have a fantastic new year and speak to you soon thanks for the reply also.
What's the expander for mate, and why don't you use wireless? I'm b looking to install my own but wondering benefits of running wired system? Is the wireless as responsive?
Hello Mate I installed the expander because i needed more then 8 wired zones. As i was adding some wireless stuff i just got the 64-w Panel, which gave me 4 wired zones on the panel and the rest on the expander, just worked out better mate. I would always say if you can run cables i.e on a building site then do it, but 90% of my systems are wireless and they are bang on, especially with the new Capture Pirs they are brilliant for pet and non pet.
@@tfsecuritysystemsltd3998 thanks mate, video is great. I can run the wired, I'm in new build but boarded up and can run plenty of cable with no issues just time. If the wireless is just as good in terms of response then I might go down this route. Do I need any additional gateways to have app functionality?
@Newbuilddiy _IG yes the wireless system we install in most of our jobs but a lot are house that are already completed so have to do it. You have to by a smart comm which plugs in to comm port 1 and 2 on the panel. the unit is the one to the right of the panel @ 4minutes 40 seconds
