My father was a proud owner of one English Raleigh with full chain cover and Miller headlamps with dynamo. Me and my brother learned cycling on it. The cycle was with us in good condition till the mid '80 s, until a good neighbor took it never to return. But, I think the Miller headlamp along with the dynamo is still somewhere in the house. Thank you for bringing in some nostalgic moments. Forgot to say it also had leather seats by Brooks, England. And it was a single speed bicycle of royal green color.
I used have a private home teacher to work with me and he used to ride one of those and travel by this old fashion cycle I think in Bangladesh they called it the Bangla cycle but I don’t know what’s the actual name of the bike??
That is the most beautiful bike I ever have seen. I'm currently restoring a 1946 Raleigh humber . Well I'm pretty sure it's a humber. When I cycle along the street I get loads of curious looks.
