He should be included in the charges brought against every single one of them after the Inquiry. They all, inc the Union Thing or whatever he is have blood on their hands and I would strongly recommend that they be charged with collective corporate manslaughter. And for Paula Vennells to then go on and get a position as CEO of a National Health Trust is fraud on itself. The woman fraudster is a high member of the Church and to think is in line for promotion within the Church is totally wrong. She has lied on Oath, she directly is responsible for sending those poor innocent SPMs to Jail and for the death of an SPMs. I hope they strip the collar off her in shame in front of other Church Members but most of all and I am not usually vindictive of anyone, “ I HOPE SHE ROTS IN HELL BECAUSE THAT’S WHERE SHE BELONGS “. In the interests of fairness, she should be jailed for a term collective of the time that the innocent SPM’s spent in Jail because of her greed for the Bonus. In fact, she cannot claim a mistake was made when she knew from the start of her tenure that there was a fault in Horizon and that the SPMs were innocent all the time. One thing really bothers me is if they claim they were not aware of any bugs, why was it an order from above for the investigators to say to every single one of the SPMs that there was no record of any other branch experiencing difficulties and that they were the only ones to have said this. DISGRACEFUL.
Why are no govt ministers responsible for overseeing post office from all parties not being asked why their office did nothing . When do all their trials start? Most likely never going to happen. So, nothing will happen at all, making all of this an absolute waste of time and another thick wad of taxpayers' money, again. So, no consequences whatsoever. No change here then is there. Question, is all of this part of our national values, habits and traditions we are supposed to uphold and spread around the globe, if we don't, because we actually have morals, will we be classed as extremists? Imagine that Horizon is 100% accurate, and that all cash figures are correct. How can any theft of cash go undetected? Why would any SPM steal astronomical amounts when they had no chance of getting away with it? Rather than skip the Country, they phoned the helpdesk and reported the shortfalls shown in Horizon. Why did no POL investigator, prosecution lawyer or judge not ask this question?

There is a pool of middle and senior management culprits that all played a part in the persecution and cover up, or did not do the correct thing or were incompetent or negligent. Her excuse at the inquiry was she thought others would deal with any discrepancies as they arose - we will hear this excuse from many others - but any outright perjury is hard to defend.

One of the questions that remain unanswered is beyond those known to the enquiry. How many more of these small post office masters received or endured problems with this system but paid up because the fear of loosing their livelihood and disgrace was too much to bear and still stay quiet.

The Post Office is now a publicly-owned company and its officials are no longer civil servants, but they seem to have the same impunity as before. They retain the right to lie in court and harm ordinary people and face no adverse personal consequences, other than possibly missing out on a bishopric or getting a lower award than they had expected.

The Public Enquiry will create or find a scapegoat within a very corrupt board of executives, if it goes to trial there will be a suicide within a week of the trial date and the whole case will be dead and buried, job done.
