Looking to buy this and during my research I came to your video. I know it's been few years so were you able to get the Ceracote fixed under warranty? If so, are you still using this gun?
Had same issue, send it and and after refinish I talked to them on the phone and they said the warranty coating they do is way better than factory, he said it was poorly prepped before coating first time. My advice to anyone is get regular camo or black to avoid this problem
Hey how had the new coating been holding up? I just got mine back after re coating and worried it will come off again and just considering selling it before that happens.
Hi there just watching your Franchi video which is very cool , I’ve just bought the exact same gun over here in Ireland and could you tell me how you attached the front sling swivel please ? It looks like it’s threaded through the steel pin which goes through the black screw down cap ? May be wrong it’s hard to see . Ok many thx Regards Darren
Just hold the release and itll cycle like it's firing. The trigger pull activates that release so thats why it works when you shoot but not when you just pull the bolt back
would the shotkam mount work on a tactacam if you mounted the tactacam with the buttons on the downside, the shot kam mount is much more streamlined than the tactacam mounts
Physics is a bitch. The gun is designed for 3.5” loads which have a lot more energy than lighter loads. Mine will occasionally fail to cycle with a 2-3/4” low brass target load but that’s to be expected. Other than that no issues with mine.
Helpful info. Was very interested in the Affinity 3 but waiting 140 days or almost 6 months for them only to send you a replacement gun is not acceptable. Deal breaker for me.
I was patterning mine today 20 gauge, but it was shooting high with the RB. I tried RD and it went even higher, so I have to use RZ to lower it and still about 80/20
my non-elite affinity 3.5 cycles 2 3/4 , 1 1/8 and 1 oz. low brass shells just fine. need to go test 7/8 oz. Rios to see if they cycle fine. I had tested them but the shotgun was missing a critical spring that allowed proper feeding from the magazine tube. that being said, the hulls ejected just fine when fired so i beleive even they will run fine in a proper functioning shotgun.

Love the content you’ve provided on the affinity elite. I have a quick question. Owning the gun for some years now, do you still enjoy it ? How do you find the Franchi cycles thru lighter target loads being chambered in 3.5? I’m on the fence on if I want to purchase my affinity elite in 3” or 3 1/2”. Thank you, cheers!
Shot a lot of birds last season! Have you gone through frame by frame on these shots? I did on about half of them and it looks like you are leading just a little to much. Birds are back peddling as the pellets whip past. Totally not throwing shade as that has been my issue for years lol. Good luck this season!
Hey brother, what chokes do you use? I’ve been debating between this gun and the sx4. I’ve been leaning more towards this one. Just want to know which choke it patterns well with! And I need an extended length choke due to my location.
Explain the counterweight please. The shop I was at had some great people who knew their stuff but it took till the 3rd person was asked before anyone knew what it was.
