Rookie mistake... You do not slide the CPU when you want to install it. You get it to the spot and let it fall in... You might cause some damage to the CPU or the motherboard when you slide it in place
Pouring water straight onto the still hot AF chip might not be so good of an idea lmaoo. You risk cracking the chip and other components due to the sudden thermal shock caused by rapid cooling. The theory is the same as an egg, put it in cold water and let it boil gradually, it will not crack. But if you put it straight into hot boiling water, it cracks.
Wow…you saved my ass dude. Thank you so much! I guess sometimes wires can become loose inside. Sometimes I have to hit my touchpad hard so that the mouse starts clicking right again, so I must have knocked it loose doing that so many times(my MacBook is a 2012 MacBook Pro and it was used and didn’t hold a charge when I got it so it’s over a decade old, so that’s why the touchpad is shit.) Anyways, thank you again! You are a life saver! You have no idea how much Google searching I did and couldn’t find not ONE solution! Thank you 🙏🏼 Oh I forgot to add that you have gained a new subscriber and I wish I could like this video 10x over and more. 🙏🏼
