You should not have beads of metal in your slag. Play around with your flux recipe, if it is not fluid enough you can add or increase the borax. Do you add a collector metal? Your button looks mostly silver but if you add litharge you may get better results. I am sure you know Jason at Mt. Baker Mining and Metals, since you have one of his shaker tables, his videos are very informative to help refine your flux mix.
Hi Dan, If you have another ore body further in, wouldn't you want to access it before you start mining this one so if something happens, you don't block your access the second one?
I simply don't understand why there'd be minerals billions , hell, hundreds of billions of years old when the average huuman lifespan is at the most one hundred years. Seems a waste ( time wise ). Of course, there surely must be something to see behind the curtain of death. But i take comfort in probable knowing as much, if not more, than the Pope, about an after life.
