Serious comment: Cool education experience + hearing Matias talk about setting the tone early! Unserious comment: The Hello Kitty reveal at 1:36 is cinema.
Serious comment: "As long as we dedicate ourselves to the staff as much as they dedicate themselves to us" is the right kind of vibes for a young Drum Corp! Unserious comment: "Puttin' the beats with the feet" is a bar.
I often wonder ? just how far the Royal Airs, Norwood Park Imperials and Vanguard would have turned out in today's drum corps. My favorite was the Vanguard & Royal Airs ! Back in the 60's era. My brother and I played with the Kenosha, WI Kingsmen for many years and we had guys from all what was called back in the great 60's The Big Chicago 4 drum corps.
Definition of a PERCUSSION ensemble, the Drumline complimenting Front ensemble and Front ensemble doing the same for the Drumline, and that snareline, piss clean🤌🏼
It wasn't easy, I can tell you that. In 2001 we had so many new guys it was insane. I think because that show was so challenging and so many of us returned, 2002 ended up being fantastic.
