The marketing for this game has been horrible. For anyone interested in it, there’s been literally zero information since its first trailer. It would be nice to know how many courses there are going to be on launch day and rather club attachments can be used
I didn’t even know about this game till someone reached out to me to test it out! I didn’t get too much info to go off of either as far as those things but I’ll have to see what is offered when I get on the game tonight
What did you mean by "you can't get near your ball"? Are you unable to recenter in your room? I didn't see you ever choose a club. Is it all automatic? Can you turn off or mute the caddie? Are there difficulty levels? Thanks for the video.
So I play in a stationary circle because I have such limited space where I record the videos. So every now and then the ball will appear outside of the area and I have to mess with it. But you can walk up to it if you are in a roomscale boundary. It usually will choose the club for you but you can choose a different club if you wanted to. Yes you can mute the caddie haha I found the setting before the second game and turned it way down. I didn’t see any difficulty levels but you can mess with a lot of the setting such as how many holes you want to play, what tees you want, wind speed, and what kind of hole to use either standard or there’s a vacuum hole.
@@slimschaedy You can hold the B button to recenter, if that is what you mean. You can change the difficulty by selecting different clubs. Advanced clubs swing further but are more difficult to hit with.
I wouldn’t say it’s difficult to position yourself to the flag. It harder to position yourself to the ball because it moves around and you can’t move it to where you want it to
Dude, why didn't you try the mixed reality section? We know what regular golf looks like. Show the rest of the game. Are there mini games to help your swing??? These are the things people want to know, not the bare bone game, 🙂
I didn’t have too much access to other game modes besides the Mixed reality the free play or challenges. The Mixed reality doesn’t work too well with the quest 2, which I run but I did record part of that!
@@slimschaedy Ah, so it just looks like an old SkyTrak driving range simulator (the old Projector and Hanging Screen kind). Not the best MR use, but at least it's ***A*** MR use. Thanks for the heads up. As long as the regular game has better mechanical feeling than Golf+ and feels more like Long Range Walkabout, I'll be happy. Golf+ needs MASSIVE tweaking to the controls, balls mechanics, and overall user interface, but all they do with updates is push more DLC.
For sure! I got the feeling of Hotshots when playing it. It’s definitely going to be a nice change over from Golf+. The game does have the power meter that needs to be tweaked a bit with the rough and sand shots. I do have to say being able to recenter the ball in Golf+ was an advantage where as you have to move around to get the ball in the right spot to hit it.
