Hi John, there are a couple of restaurants, a bar and a convenience shop a short walk from the hotel. The beach is a 2-3 minute walk from the main swimming pool. A small set of shops with a pharmacy, bakery and a couple of restaurants is less than a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is about a 7-8 minute drive from Lindos town and Lindos Beach. Walking would take about 40 minutes but to get there you would have to walk along the side of the road. The resort itself is incredibly well looked after but the surrounding land is mostly wild and untended to.
I'm not sure to be honest. If I was to guess I would say that the section at about 0.44 in the video might be a vegan as this was where alternative milks and yoghurts were. There was also an excellent selection of vegetables and fresh fruit. I would recommend contacting the hotel to enquire. They are very helpful and quick to reply.
An update: To eat here well is possible. The breakfast: The bread is vegan (I‘ve asked the marketing manager, who checked it with the kitchen staff). There are always fresh vegetables and fruits and salads. There is also provided a variety of plant based milks: Soy, Almond, Oat & Rice. There are also oats and other cereals always served. Peas, Beans in tomatosauce and fried potatoes are served also.
Dinner: Every evening there is a new theme night (Greek, Italian, Asian, Gala dinner, Mexican, ). Beside the buffet, they‘re serving a selection of four plated dishes. But so far, there were no vegan item on that selection. The hotel declares every hot dish with dietic informations ( vegan, vegetarian, glutenfree etc.). There are always vegan options and a good salad buffet. On the mexican night there was a vegetarian burrito on the menu. After talking to our waiter and then the sous chef, the sous chef showed me all vegan options and made me after a request a vegan burrito. The staff is really nice and helpful. When you tell them, that you‘re vegan they will help you.
Looks awesome mate. Looking at holidays here now, and this video is definitely swaying me toward it! Was this recorded early in the day when most people aren't up yet, or was it just quite a quiet place? There looks to be a LOT of empty loungers 🤘🤣
It was in the afternoon. Probably 2 or 3. There were plenty of beds and we never failed to get one but I get the impression that hotel wasn't 100% full while we were there (4th-18th June). It's a lovely spot. I'll definitely be going back.
We were there is July, very busy, especially breakfast time. We are booked for September this year. Thanks for the video. IRS a great place. There are a few places round about but it’s not far from lindos by bus if you want busy. We liked it in kalathos. Oh captain visallis bost tour leaves from the beach. It’s a great day out. Highly recommended.
