I think you could spend a day there, at least half a day - it's quite a long way from the city so its worth the trek on a nice sunny day... don't go now haha
Beautiful beach, bro! Got recommended your channel by Fat and Broke in his Discord. I'm looking to move out to Da Nang for a while, probs middle of next year, if covid biz isn't too crazy. Anyway, nice vids!
No, not anymore- you’ll need both doses of vaccine and a two week gap between traveling and when you had the last dose. That’s all domestically of course
I’m planning to stay at VinOasis as well…it looks like the most lively place to stay on the island for a week. Would you recommend it? Or in hindsight would elsewhere have been better? Also, the room prices are reasonable…how costly is everything else? Tickets to VinWonders, dinners, etc?
Hey Rich, glad ti see you back in action. I enjoy your videos. My wife, too, is Vietnamese from Saigon. There is another guy living in Danang. His name is Eli in Vietnam......Keep up the good work!! Later, Louie.
Hello Rich! So Im from the UK. I recently accepted a job offer and they will be relocating me to Danang,Vietnam when it opens up. I am double vaccinated, I wondered what your take is on the situation and when you think it will open up again? Im hoping it wont be more than 6 months because im looking forward to starting a new life over there
If you have a a job here you could get sponsored by your company to get a skilled workers visa. I think early next here things might open, but really don’t know. I’d look into the skilled visa if you can, you’ll love it over here when you get here, we can grab a beer also
@@RichWatson I'm sure it is a skilled work visa, though ill need to double-check with the company. It's all accepted though, I start work remotely with them next month, then when available they will pay for my flight over and a month of accommodation which is nice. Definitely, lets meet up for a chat and maybe you can give me advice on settling in :D
I like the driving and talking videos in Da Nang. Your area is more chill than mine - hard to buy food here. P.S. I'd drop the music volume to -20Db when editing cause it's a little loud to hear you clearly.
Yeah it's a bit too chill atm, good news about no cases over the weekend right? Maybe we can meet for a beer or coffee after? Ta for the tip, I got over eager with the volume as it's my beat ha ha
I disagree with VN being an unsafe place to live. I don’t plan on going back to U.K. apart from to visit - my life is situated here and I am confident VN will get a hold of things sooner or later.
Not currently - there are talks of opening up Phu quoc for limited tourism at the end of the year, but for now you have to have a special visa to be able to get in
@@RichWatson Wow..ok I speak to a friend in an bang and he still is not vaccinated.. I guess that does not help Maybe phu quoc would not be as touristic . Well thank you for the information I would not mind having updates, if you do not mind Thank you again
No worries man, ill update you guys when I do videos. There are about 10 million vaccinated now I believe, about 90 to go. We just got our chance to register for a vaccine
