i haven’t tried resin printing, i’ve had many Fdm and i just can’t make myself go to resin. post processing and all that is too much hassle for me

Bought a A1 mini with AMS. I'm a total Noob! An can;t find the answer to my following question anywhere. If i load something form the bambu app with 4 colors, how does my AMS know which color when to use.?

I just ordered the Q1 Pro from their shop, so I’m checking other people’s experiences. In regards to platform calibration, there are actually three screws you can use to manually adjust the bed platform angle. Coming from an Ender 3, I’ve always done all calibration manually, so the startup sequence is comically long. But I liked that the probing was only under the print itself. BTW have they already fixed the purging sequence to purge directly before the print and not ooze into purge lines/print?

It knows what color the spool is because it knows what color it isn't therefore it substracts what color the spool isn't from what colors it can be, determining the color the spool of filament is.

I have the 4 plus and I’m having problems setting XYZ to 0.

I cant get this quailty prints with it. Started pretty good out of the box for small prints, but now I'm confident to print larger projects the quality has dropped significatly. Can you please post best settings for Cloud print standard PLA (0.2 nozzle) ?

And use none toxic water base paper glue sticks . Helps for best bed adhesion to parts 😂

You can insulate the bed yourself. I did mine it's not that much different tho maybe a little more control over temp setting. Will be more accurate

I see different ways of levelling in differente videos. Like some set the Z offset prior to adjusting every corner. And the auto levelling as the last step.

No editing the Gcode?

What are the steps you take after a print is done, just turn the machine off?

So I did the level just like shown here ... but after I tighten , I put the VAT back in and fill with resin , then I hit print and it goes to do its thing I hear a grinding noise... which is apparently the bed trying to still push into the screen.. but I thought it had been calibrated.. does it not hold settings ?

Is it just me or is the leveling part a bit confusing... I did this step by step how you said but when I go to print I get a grinding sound.. Which is apparently when the bed is still trying to push down on the screen.. Is there another step AFTER the homing and tightening the screws ?

My Q1 always works fine, some of the failures look like slicing software settings. I don't know why I always see people saying Bambu under videos of other brands. I hope everyone stays objective, comparing price and quality the Q1 is definitely a good choice.

all I hear is basically "lot's of problems, incomplete prints etc." so just get a bambu labs.

FYI: when you scale 200% something that was made with snap tolerance of 0.2mm, that becomes 0.4mm and stuff won't snap fit anymore.

I don't have the CR Touch, But after a firmware update, the X Y And Z are blinking with Questionmarks. The AutoHome sends the head of the charts and makes some noises when it can't go any further. Any quick suggestion what to do?

What is interesting to me is max volumetric flow on a non pla filament. I am doing 30mm3 on xplus3 with the bimetal 0.8 nozzle. Just turn down the cooling as much as possible

Don't buy it. Elegoo is the bottom of the line. Issues with almost everything. Save your money and sanity.

Precise and articulated. I noticed your cr touch only has 3 across touch points. I installed CR Touch and mine has 49 touch points. Is there a way to change that?

So I got this printer from my parents for my birthday and I can’t really get it to work it kind of just like dribbles out the material and forms a ball all around the nozzle also I can’t get it to print from anything that isn’t the Creality cloud

I don't know why they just can't put a decent screen on the P1P and P1S from the factory like the Creality ones.

Most newer enclosed core xy are all just bambu’s with a slight tweak or two
