To be honest, this would have been a win without the 6 drop as well. Just keep the Gun Powders to buff the shit out of 2 cleaves and give health with Balladist + Brann.
@@askar_arystanbayev In terms of raw stats (attack+health), yes. But the board wouldn't be less strong, especially because your Cleaves have much more attack. For example, keeping Defiant Shipwright gives you stats, but it is just a shitty do-nothing-card, while Gunpowder and Peggy (that he had to sell early) buff all other minions, maybe you can include a golden Underhanded Dealer as well. Also you don't have to spend money early on leveling to 6. There are many dogdog videos on how strong that was before this patch. My point is not that it was a misplay, but that the board strenght came from the combination of Hero Power plus early Tethys plus Cleave, NOT from the new 6-drop, as the title may suggest. Thus, this game is not the reason why Greymanes Champion should be nerfed. There are other games that are, of course.
@@YTTYYTTY42 I feel like this was also a lack of not having enough money which ended being just a decent showcase. The second tethys was sold instead of played. Second tethys could have been used to farm more 6 drops + spend more money with balladist. Defiant Shipright also gives less stats than peggy. Golden version is +0/+2 vs +2/+2. Plus the stats are more concentrated more useful cards. Time is money which means time spent not doing anything is stats wasted. There should have been no reason to not go infinite as Hogarr + pirates. I do believe a golden greymane is better than gunpowder/peggy/brann+balladist counterparts. +4/+4 to potentially 5 units which is +20/+20 every card played. And you are still getting value from balladist but half without brann. Plus more money is more divine shield. Also could have spared money for a better ending unit.
@@2chu4you16 Surely Graymane is better, it's absurdly overpowered. I was just saying that, although it gave lots of stats, it wasn't the reason for winning here, like the title suggested. At the point it came into play, it was just a win-more-card.
Outside of heropowers and duos the tier 1 minions are really bad so far. The dragon ones are best. Hell even tier 2 minions kinda suck outside of goose and rooster
HysteriA, you're the best dude. I absolutely love Battlegrounds and the only two content creators I watch are you and Kripp. Your playstyles are so different and it's so fun to watch the way you explore the new wombo-combos in each new patch! Keep it up! <3
Yeah dude always have crazy combos, kripp i stopped watching due to his waaaaaaaaay out of date content, rather keep up with RDU and learn some in the process.
Kripps fun I think he’s entertaining but he’s def not a good source for skill, same with hysteria, they just play for the fun high rolls not really for what’s best, after getting to 10k mmr it’s hard for me to watch kripp
With the spell tavern rolls, you had golden touch and fluidity a couple of times, could had taken both, and then used fluidity on lighter fighter next shop phase and then goldened it. Just 1 golden lighter fighter would had gotten you the win for sure.
“Hey Bob, can I have a golden Rivendaire?” “Sure have two :)!” “Nice! How bout a golden chicken?” “How bout THREE golden chickens?”;) “Lets go! Now just a golden Lighter Fighter!” “…No >:(“ But seriously fluidity would’ve been your friend with the golden touch spell
I get being locked in for looking for the last Light Fighter. Not finding it can be frustrating. Would adding Taunt on the Heralds & other Lighter Fighter have been better to do? That & have the Heralds first to make board space for a Kangor’s Apprentice to trigger? Could have ditched the non golden one to make space for the Apprentice. I think anyways. The math is crazy for this build & hurts my brain. These high health minions lobbies make this build tough but this is probably one of if not my favorite types of build to go for. Beast builds & Undead dont always use Rivendares in the end game because it takes up a spot that is needed for board space. That & no one takes & keeps Lighter Fighters for too long unless they go for this build. Hawkstrider Heralds can be tough to compete with to get your hands on but other than that, the rest of the minions can be easier to come by
I remember my one run, where I get double deathrattle trigger with lighter fighter (no fluidity at this time) and can't fight even one! more 😂 still win, but that was so freaking frustrating.
Midrange demons are not the issue, murlocs are the outlier issue If murlocs are in game you can be sure to find at least 2-3 murlocs players at least because they have stats, poison and numbers on board and the easiest minion cyclability in the game
@@mightytoothpick that's the thing, they're the easiest comps to play and still they nerfed lighter fighter that was an exodia comp, they constantly lower the risk:reward ratio and is getting so boring
