If you like 4wding, modifying, dirt biking, camping or generally anything outdoors then you’re in the right place! Not quite sure exactly what direction I want to take this channel but you’ll be seeing a lot of the above, there’s probably gonna be some random videos here and there but all in the name of fun! Follow me along in this new adventure and if you are enjoying the content, consider subscribing? cheers! 🍻
@@CommunityPatrols-Manager Hey mate it’s worked a treat, very solid, we stuck 30x30mm corner trim along all the edges for extra protection and to avoid any potential wind drag trying to lift the panels away, probably overkill but looks better too
Doing the exact same thing to my 94 MU, made some custom carpets and had no clue I could just use the TF rodeo ones 🙃 Definitely keen to see what you do with it! 💪
Yea I did consider that or an upright would be nice too! unfortunately not enough space for it in this position and typically more expensive but could definitely make it work if u didn’t want the middle seat👌🏼
Where is the entry point for the track you're on at 18:00? It looks sweet, and haven't been on it yet. (I've done a couple of the Cotter tracks with some mates)
I put a link to the exact spot in one of the comments below, if u click it and put a pin in the centre of the screen it’s pretty well bang on the start👌🏼
Hey mate! My partner and I just moved near this place and don't know many people around here. any other suggestions on places to camp and do some 4x4 tracks?
Hey man good stuff, there’s not a heap of stuff too close but I’d suggest getting the Newtracs app, that’s what I use, it’s free and it shows u where all the tracks are and I think camp sites too, otherwise wiki camps is another great one but it costs a lil bit!
We did commando in the wet a few weeks ago, it was wild. Lots of winching! And that was a bunch of twin locked Jeeps on 35s and 37s. It looks like it would be a lot more fun dry...
Heck yea it’s a wild track, definitely looked doable in the dry but I didn’t wanna risk it with no winch and a long drive home, woulda been chaos in the wet ahaha jeeps woulda ate it up tho!
Born to Explore 4x4 in New Zealand had a real modified one with diff lockers and 355nm at the wheels . Give them a message they know a lot of cheap easy mods for the Isuzu Mus
Faultless so far mate, I run there 60lt fridge in the open tub when we go camping too and have for the last 4 years, still running sweet tho you’ll want the extra insulating cover if it’s not gonna be mounted inside, I’ve had good and bad experience with kings gear but the fridges are solid👌🏼
So If you turn off paddy’s river rd and head down laurel camp rd there’s a track that runs alongside ur left, keep going past the carpark and you’ll find a few of the tracks we did, they’ve gotten a lot worse tho, honestly everything we did here are pretty close just cruise around and you’ll find most of it👌🏼although we went for a ride the other day and the mini gunshot looking section (it’s on the other side of paddy’s river rd) is now closed off unfortunately, u can sneak through but the track is cooked now so wouldn’t bother
Been lookin on the map and RU-vid for a ride around the ACT perimeter, is it a thing ? Looks like you blokes have good local knowledge. Im from over on the coast.
Honestly man I don’t know if there is like a full loop of trails, we’ve mostly run around the cotter cause that’s where we do a lot of wheeling so we kinda know the area but I’d image there’d be a maze of single trail/ fire trails running around the place, there’s an FB group called act adventure riders who do a lot more of that sort of stuff, might be worth a look depending what sort of riding you’re after🤟🏼
Lovee the video. Im happy to see people who dont have a 100 thousand dollar car and can have fun. Just to clarify, what exactly was the issue with air getting into the fuel?
Cheers man! It ended up being the 0 ring on the end of the actual drain plug, it winds into the water sensor under the filter, last thing I checked of course ahah
Yea it’s so good there, It came with the kicker 8” hideaway kit and just plugs straight into the base/amp no wiring involved, u can fine adjust it on the unit itself then mount the dial and it’ll control the base output👌🏼still need to use buttons for volume tho
The phat bars snorkel actually has a drain hole in it just below the top A pillar bracket, can kinda see in the vid from 4min 30 but the factory air box has a drain hole too, never had an issue with it👌🏼
@@lockyrogers it’s one of the best spots on the south coast. Dampier Fire Track was closed for a few years after all the heavy flooding. It came to the point you could not see the track it was so overgrown. I know the exact spot you guys camped in. A bit further down the river we spotted a platypus swimming one morning. Great vid. 👍
I never knew that would have been cool to see it like that tho, so much wildlife around I’m not surprised u saw one, we wanted to check out the caves but they had signs at the trail saying it’s all closed, hoping to head back in soon and check it out if it’s open! Cheers mate!!
