Cool bit of programming, the universe, but as with all programmes, its flaws are inherent because of the programmer. Evidence of this is to be found in the abject misery of the lives most humans exist, being predated upon by unnatural beings. So, keep the universe, it's boring, uninspiring, cold. dark, miserable, likely malignant due to its programmer's flaws.
Nothing mysterious about the universe, God made it. It is filled with amazing things our dumbasses dont understand yet, we dont know how God did it and we have a limited view and access. But universe as a whole, read your bible. There are just as many amazing things in the ocean, in biology, in the atom, etc. We think we now so much but we only know a lot about the small scratches of knowledge we have aquired while investigating a tree in the forest. All of the amazing things we have accomplished are based on those small scratches. We are far more ignorant than we admit. Think of all the great things we have done, dont loose track of the fact that 300 years ago we had/knew next to nothing and hadnt accomplished much off the knowledge we did have. All those things we have figured out were done by people just like you. They may have gone to school to learn core knowledge but overall their mind is no brighter than the person that sits around all day drinking 40s and smoking blunts. They just took a different path. (Trust me, those working in all these fields arent on a different level you werent capable of. They were raised with different exspectations, they had rules and internal drive based on those exspectations. They turned that desire to understand into their passion like others have a passion to understand the effects of each marijuana strain) I have been at the exec level in biotech, pharma, laboratories and clinical trials for 30+ years. I've seen and learned amazing thiings. There is nothing i have enountered that hasnt reinfornced my belief and trust in God. You have to laugh when someone picks out some scientific fact and declares there is no possibly way God did that. (Universe looking older than explainable, biology mysteries, etc.) Yes, your 5 min consideration of a fact someone else told you with no hard data or final explination/conclusion makes that clear. (You'd love everyone, You'd openly and quickly forgive, You'd be on your knees thanking God, you'd be searching for what his desires are for you, you'd want his plan for you not yours, etc.) Sadly many arent like that. That message isnt just for others, I sit and wonder about my own actions, thoughts and beliefs and i consider on a regular basis if i live like i truly believe. I guess that is where Jesus comes in. We are all flawed and sinful, it's part of who we are. Only he can remove that burden because of our belief and trust in him. The EVERYTHING is far more complex and far more simple than we aknowledge. The fruit Adam ate and the rules around it were simple. He understood what he needed to at the deepest level. He didnt need to know the molucules the fruit was made up of, how they interacted with his body or soul, etc. One side of the knowledge would do nothing but benifit him. The other side was interesting but wouldnt help in in the least short of understanding his damnation. Focus on what matters then enjoy the additional knowledge, don't damn yourself trying to obtain a slightly better view of the part that doesnt truly matter while turning you back on what does. rant over, i hope this makes someone stop and think.
