before I purchased better black ink for my printer, the best black, or darkest black was set to CMYK and it was set to C-40 M-30 Y-30 K-100... but now I can set K to 100 everything else as 0 and get the best black possible due to the type of ink I use.
We just run the standard Canon ink recommended for the Pixma Printer. You just need to make sure all of your lines are set to true #0000 BLK before you print and at least for us it's always been golden! We still use this printer to this day!
Hey guys. Appreciate the video! You know I have always been a M&R guy but this machine has been on my wish list. Would you recommend it? How does registration hold up as the machine gets used?
Yes, absolutely. This thing is a beast! Holds registration super well throughout entire print run and the adjustments are incredibly easy to make. It pays for itself every single time we print on it!
It was great to meet you guys! I was one of the bartenders across from y'all, and when we went out after the last night I was repping my Grind Time shirt! Hope y'all had a safe trip back home and hope to see y'all next year!
Wesley! It was great meeting all of you and so sick to hear you were already getting some wear out of your shirt!!! We appreciate it! We made it back to Jax safely and counting down the days till we can do it again!
how do you make the actual image? like the very very first step, beginning, the image that you want to put on the shirt? you said you just drag and drop the artwork into the program, but how do you make the initial artwork?
Brittney, The best way to get started is download something like Vectornator on an IPAD and draw your vector designs. You can also design inside of Adobe Illustrator or find a graphic designer who can help create your images! You can feel free to email us at grindtimeclothingconcepts@gmail.com and would be happy to quote any designs you are in need of!
