The visuals of the intrument are not clear. Eg in menue what you select are not visible it should be zooomed. We re not intereted to see your face ibstead focus on the instrument which should be zoomed.
We used TFM for this comparison to eliminate the variable that is focusing with Phased Array data. By using TFM, we ensured to compare only the effect of probe and wedge selection.
Correct. This video is an example of a TCG calibration for a DMA probe which uses Longitudinal waves. Longitudinal waves often limit the inspection to the first leg as Shear wave mode conversion pollutes the second leg. As you can see in the video, the sectorial scan configuration does not allow to build a TCG point from angle min to angle max, the ability to limit the index of the TCG points becomes that much more important for such configurations.

Good day. What is the accuracy of Olympus devices such as Vanta L and C/M? (program CarCatalyst). On the company's website, it is indicated that Vanta L is for preliminary analysis. Vanta C and C for accurate analysis. But exactly how much? What accuracy do you claim within mathematical understanding?
1. The type of grinding indicated in the video is not suitable for preparing a homogeneous sample. 2. I do not agree with the statement that there will be an incorrect analysis due to the non-use of laboratory film. We tested samples for each of which there were ICP analyses The error of the device is ten times greater than the error introduced by ordinary food film. On some samples of soot filters, the device was wrong by even 40% (Vanta C), on samples with a palladium content of 11000-22000 ppm, the Vanta L device simply does not work normally. The underestimation of the metal content was systematically within 14-28%.
