The revamp of Kingdom Valley looks beautiful & I love how Shadow gets to humble his grandson without the need of a super form. Tbh Shadow after his “death” at the end of SA2B & then again after fighting Mephiles has been stronger than ever. I know we got to see him embarrass a pre-phantom ruby Infinite but even against the power of hyperillusions/hallucinations I’m sure he stomps that out too.
I think i understand what all his boses are going to be, every villain in the sonic game that thought to be the ultimate creature or villain, based on what metal overlord said he was chastising shadow for being the ultimate lifeform and i think doom is taking his around the places where these people think they are the ultimate, which is probably why shadow will probably go against the End from forces or one of the final titans
Love that Sonic has grown strong enough to defeat Perfect Chaos solo and Shadow has grown strong enough to defeat Metal Overlord Solo, both without Superforms.
@@EonNite What makes me hype about Shadow’s growth, here, isn’t that he defeated Metal Overlord without a super form. It’s that he SOLOED Metal Overlord, previously a final boss from a game heavily focused on the concept of teamwork, without a super form, when he and eight other people could at best in the original game soften it up for Super Team Sonic to finish off. Say what you will about his Doom Powers, they are very busted.
In sonic Heroes 12 characters worked together to stop metal overlord aka Metal Sonic and now Shadow Takes on him in 1 vs 1 fight and destroyed him. It's insane how strong shadow got. He proved why he is the ultimate Lifeform.
Once upon a time, it took Sonic going Super to defeat Perfect Chaos. Now he has gained enough strength to defeat him without the aid of the Chaos Emeralds.

It seems to be a mix of linear boost design mixed with the more open adventure design as Frontiers showed them how a boost sonic can work in more open level design
The Rider Kick to finish off Metal Overlord was peak! Also love the added touch of Shadow's Chaos Control having sound effects from the cyberspace stages in Shadow the Hedgehog.
@@comicfan1324 Yeah from what I’ve seen there is this gauge you fill as you collect rings to be able to use Chaos powers and when it’s full, Shadow gains this golden aura
It's OG "What I'm Made Of" as placeholder for now, but we WILL get a remix of it. Can't wait for the Crush 40 remixes throughout this game, hope we get some new Crush tracks, it's been long overdue.
Now this is amazing, and i love that sega/sonic team is showing that even sonic and shadow don’t need their super forms to defeat powerful foes, and kingdom valley is like a trip down to memory lane, and I can’t wait to fight Metal Overlord again. It’ll be just like the “Battle for Angel Island Arc”.
The fact that SEGA took over 30 years or practically 30 years to finally give Shadow his full set of abilities is infuriating but worth the wait this will be THE game of 2024
