100 percent. You would of had a hay day with this one. It was just trashed. My son love to drag home the most messed up vehicles. It’s actually Impressive that they run and move most times hahah. Thanks for watching!!
I have a question , what about if you have electronic brake system, do we have to put on maintenance mode?? Or thats only if we are working on the rear brakes
I have a mityvac 7201 fluid extractor bump is not working today. Here is what I did to fix it: open the tube from the top, there are two holes so you can use a special tool to unscrew the cap. take out the plunger and replace the O-ring. btw, I bought this tool at least 10 years ago.
@@bluegables good find!! I have the 7201 as well but has been working good so far. I’ll definitely keep this in mind for when I stops. Thanks for watching
I have the same product, only 2 years old, stopped pumping today in the middle of an oil change on my sea doo. I'll tear it down and hopefully get it working.Thanks. Still need to do the boat oil change.
@@Lupinsx where are you guys located I’m in Ontario Canada and these trucks are either restored or junk from our salt being used on the roads in the winter so the prices are fairly high.
The overall process will be the same. I’m not sure if the rotors come off the same way but I’m thinking they do. Easy way to tell is if your new rotors are open in the middle then they are the same. If the new rotors has a hub and bearings race then no. I have another that is for a 2wd ford ranger/trailer that explains how to deal with the other style. @@Lupinsx I don't. I saved you video for when I need to change my brakes again. Plan on doing it myself. The dealer tried to pull a fast one on me last time. To make a long story short the crooks told me my rotor was cracked. When my buddy double checked with me there were no cracks. I took the rotors to O'Reilly Auto who checked them and stated they were fine. They turned the rotors for $25.00 if my memory is right. The brake job cost me around 90.00 vs $600.00 at the Ford dealership who no longer touches my truck. I now try to do things myself. Can't trust any damn one any more.
@@RayTrammell-z2e I totally understand I worked for Ford for 25 years. I just work for myself now. It’s sad that people Can’t be honest. I treat all my customers cars as if they were my own and am more than happy to show them and explain things to them rather than just making things up and billing them. When you get around to doing your brakes and if you get hung up. Just shoot me a message I’m sure I can walk you through whatever your up against.
Good video! The humps are irrelevant if using oem parts now because you can install the pads on any direction on either side. I found out when I changed the front brakes recently.
Thank you so much for this. I'd forgotten the fairly simple steps from the last time I had to change out a bulb. Sill puzzled how DUDE hands can fit in that sinky space we have to work with to swap out the bulb. So very grateful I had a spare bulb from last time. And easily accessible as I had it in my trunk organizer. YAY! Next is to get the crazy oxidized light covers all cleaned up. I look forward to people flashing their brights at me when my lights are on low beam. So appreciate how you kept this so concise, along with helpful!
This was a huge help to have a visual before I attempt. If you do a full hydraulic oil change and front axle oil change, I would be very interested and it would be much appreciated. I am not due for either, but it will be nice to have the visual when the time comes. Thank you very much.
Thank for watching!! Glad it helped. I need to do a seal on the front one of these days I’ll probably swap out the diff fluid at the same time. Hit the subscribe and the bell icon and it should pop up for you when I get to it.
If your only doing one caliper and you didn’t loose a ton of fluid during the swap process. bleeding the one side is normally fine. If you find the brakes feel spongy then doing both side couldn’t hurt. Thanks for watching
