One of the most exciting moments of my life was being a 17 year old kid from mostly rural west Texas finding myself in Austin and driving slow down 6th street in traffic and seeing them unloading their gear out in front of Emo's. Seems pretty innocuous or quotidian, but that was a big moment for me.
damn man so much memories in this album, it’s one of those that you never forget. i come back here every month or whenever i need a cathartic experience. this album really helped me thru so much man, thanks tigers jaw for making this album
My relationsship with emo is strange. On the one hand, i absolutely love the drive and the sadness. On the other hand, the sometimes very obsessive lyrics about (ex-)girlfriends make me feel very uncomfortable, because i've been this way in way too many relationsships. (Not especially Tigers Jaw, but bands in this genre in general).
Just watched pinback last Saturday night here in Tucson Arizona. Rob said it was their first show in 4 years. They put on a awesome show and sounded great. (5th show that I saw them). They are out on a north American tour. Highly recommended #pinback #191etool
Been a fan of Wicca Phase Springs Eternal for a min and my brother showed me Tigers Jaw because Adam was part of it. Wish I knew of them sooner really love these songs.
