I don't know if that's Barstow, but they are illegally built. If it is, in fact, the "railroad," it is illegal. If it is a way of the "right" people stopping this behavior of expansionist, then good. Stop it with this behavior that you can be in this land without the blood as agreed. Go!
@909adventures My husband was locked up there as a kid. The owners name was Jim Canfield? And his house he lived in with his family was in back of the boys ranch. They did horrible things to the kids there. We're trying to find out more information.

NO, No, no, no it’s not. You can’t just show an old truck and claim it from a movie you have no idea about truck. An Autocar later under White trucks and a Peterbilt are two completely different trucks.
Good presentation. Interesting history around The Apache. Designed by an Italian guy who had no formal architectural education. The plans are framed outside the elevator which I believe is one of the first in Nevada.
Definitely decommissioned. The need for stationary, early warning OTH radar disappeared with the advent of AWACS and later, satellite imagery. Not that there still isn't stationary radar, but the system of coastal radar bubbles are long since deactivated. Check out the old one at Hebo, Oregon. We were stationed there too.
My dad was a radar jockey here from 1969 through 1973. His official job title was "Electronic Counter, Counter Measures Technician". He would take me to work with him often when he was on the graveyard shift. I had to get on the floor of our 62 Impala and he would cover me up with a coat so we could get through the guard gate. He taught me how to read the paints on the radar screens. I learned how to discern mountains, clouds, flocks of birds AND aircraft. He also taught me how to put the crosshairs on potential aircraft and send the data to the computer in the back room. If the local computer determined it was unidentified aircraft, it would send the data to a more powerful computer in Texas. I was 6, 7 and 8 years old and protecting the west coast during the cold war, while my dad napped. Amazing memories and my first "video game"! I could still run that equipment to this day if it still existed. While not photographic, I do have an excellent memory. Good times!

@@909Adventures just because someone says it is doesn't make it that! Someone made a mistake! Someone was just saying it was, when even that place knows better! Look at how many "Tow Maters" there are! From the cartoon - every one is different using different trucks - doesn't mean it's really Tow-Mater! LOL i think they meant it as a symbol of it, or just another truck "like" the movie truck. Property to draw business in fooling them.
I use Pixle Lab for my thumbnails. It's a pretty cut and dry app and doesn't really have templates so it forces you to be a little more creative. BTW I've seen some of your videos, good stuff man.

Grover Jackson brand founded in 1980 “JacksonGuitarSSSSPlayer” lol I gotta change it up the 03 is the year of my old truck
PS the face grill is different also on this look alike truck. The overall colour should be metallic dark brass to metallic brown. Probably because of the used weathered look it was given for its starring role in the movie.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️.

Yes Mijo, let me learn you something. "A pantry is a small room or cupboard in a home, office or building that stores food, drinks and dishes," not the pantry where you go to the church and get expired food. Two different things but both very useful. And you were never here either, Javi, so relax.
Fascinating to see this - I had no idea. My Quaker grandparents retired to Whittier, so I spent vacations there. They used to live on Washington, near here. Gonna share this with family!
I visited Vegas a while ago and wanted go to Primm but it's viable difficult. Especially I don't drive much and spending like $50 on uber one way is not good. RTC Nevada should had provided an express bus service from Vegas running like every 20-25 mins making stops at SpeedVegas, 7 Magic Mountains which the bus stop could be at the parking lot, and then rolling on the I-15 to Primm. This might had brought more people to the mall. I wish there was more transit options south of Vegas.
