I’ve never had an issue with it, maybe it’s because I’m so used to a mouse? It’s been pretty easy for me from the start.

That end is a qoute and then some I only started with my own comic project a few months back Couldn't work on it due to my job demanding more time so page 2 is still a WIP. But i had learned a lot inbetween. 3D awareness. Posing. Lineart. Better sketching on one layer. In comparison to what i can do now my second page looks not great but not as good as i could make it now. And yet i will only redo it slightly. Where it matters. Hope i can get to it soon so i also can make something imperfect. Least i will have a co.ic of my own. That too is an achievement

Beautiful video, sometimes we need to hear something like this and i was thinking something the other day, while scrolling in pinterest i saw amazing draws from people, and i was like how can i stand more from them, being an artist or a designer is hard, but then i thought, it has to be the same from others jobs, like lawyers, medics, teachers, constructors, sellmans, like there always going to be competition and feel bad about not being enought, but you can improve, i can improve, day by day becoming better and better, and i bet i will get to the point i want, and even higher, and you can too.

this is something easily forgotten, and i thank you from reminding us of it. I've been really down bad these last couple months, and something that is still weighing down on me is that I've stopped writing, which was something I did for years, and the motive is I thought i was so bad at it that it simply couldn't have any value, or be appreciated. but it can, and there's always someone that would relate to it on their also own unique special ways

Every person has their own distinct viewpoint and emotional experiences. Your art reflects who you are, your thoughts, feelings, and stories, making it inherently personal and irreplaceable.

My art has become less and less interesting as I've become a slave to drawing what gets social media attention. I'm tired of it and I'm deeply unhappy. I think this helped a little.

I noticed after your realism studies and art pieces, your anime faces became much less flat and more accurate. That proves that learning realism really boosts your ability to understand where and why certain features are placed.

The big takeaway that's ringing in my head from this video is this is a good reason to stop comparing your art. It's continue the journey of art with love and curiosity, it doesn't matter if some of the building blocks are derivative, it's all about building a house out of the things that inspire you authentically. Derivative will still always be filtered through your own senses, you just have to stop comparing yourself long enough to be in the moment and experience yourself without judgment and let whatever comes flow. Your creative lens is enough, the growth you seek isnt in defining your creativity outside yourself but in creating for it a bigger more defined space to exist through practicing techniques, studies, subjects and so on that inspire you, that engage that part of yourself actively. David Grohl (the nirvana drummer and guitarist/singer of the foo fighters) took a lot of inspiration in his drumming from disco among other strange things for rock. He never defined or compared himself in his disco drumming looking outside of himself, he instead took inspiration and made it his own because he liked it. He didn't worry about what you "should" be doing, but instead focused on developing and making his own of the stuff he enjoyed. The best art is the one you make for yourself first. The art you make out of genuine love and curiosity, the stuff that inspires us, art from others is captured from the lens of another artist, but what inspires us is our own lens capturing part of their art that inspires us and adding it as a brick to our building. We in life are an amalgamation of our experiences both inside and outside of ourselves and how we handled them, art is no different.

I get that motivation from Isabella in Encanto: ''It's not symetrical or perfect, but it's beautiful and it's mine!'' ''I'm so sick of pretty, I want something true'' ''What could I do if I just knew it didn't need to be perfect?''

To quote the late and great David Bowie "... if you feel safe in the area you're working in, you're not working in the right area. Always go a little further into the water than you feel you're capable of being in. Go a little bit out of your depth and when you don't feel your feet are quite touching the bottom, you're just about in the right place to do something exciting."
