Heat is more beneficial than cold. Cold constricts vascular systems and slows blood flow down. First 24 - 48 hours is fine with cold but then you want to use warm or hot compresses. Blood flow carries oxegyn & nutrients to HEAL.
I feel like when your massaging the muscle without heat or cold the friction of the muscles will cause heat and increase blood flow. Heat is better for the circulation. Correct.
I am a 4'11 and 100 pounds . I would like to know where exactly to sit and where should the tailbone really touch the pillow or not touch for that matter. Tnx
I am recovering from THR and my PT is ending next week. My PT recommended I join a gym (too expensive) or purchase a stationary bike and/or treadmill. I don't have room for either and they are very expensive. In your opinion, is the Ellitical the best option for me! Thank you for the review, I always turn to Bob and Brad when I have questions regarding my many surgeries, PTs and recoveries. I'm kind of clumsy! The three of you are fantastic and bring the same humor, confidence and knowledge to the website. Cheers!
The eye mask is a game changer for me. I use it at least 5 times a week. In 2020 I started having constant eye twitching, and was told by my ophthalmologist it was stress. Since using the eye massager consistently the twitching has subsided considerably.
I just got this resistant bands' set. Had to check with you about putting it together. Can't wait to use tomorrow!! Thank you for all you do for us seniors. I am grateful.
I love my cart. I use it in the cart option. I put a bin on it fit perfect, used zip ties in front and back to secure in place and also bought bungee cords to hold extra stuff on top of the empty bin to take trash to the dumpster at my apartment. Pressure wash it and leave it on the back porch. Bought mine at Sam's Club about a year ago.
As a nail tech I was always told these tools are so so horrible for use of feet. With this rasp “cheese grater” is only cutting the skin off, which in turn encourages the skin to grow back thicker and quicker meaning you need to use this tool more. A foot file is more effective, and if needed can be used with a chemical product that helps soften the calluses prior to the foot file. For at home just soaking your feet or after a shower the callus should be soft enough for the foot file.
Yikes! I see major red flags here! I’d consult an eye doctor BEFORE using this product, not after! I’d appreciated if you’d had an eye doctor as your guest here. One big problem: eye drs typically warn against manually rubbing your eyes the way you demonstrated here; that seems too much pressure on the eyeball; stimulate Meibomian glands needs to be done with extreme care & with training from an eye specialist. Another question: air compression..? Is there air blowing at your eyes? I would think that dries your eyes, the opposite of the intended effect. I’d suggest watching credentialed eye doctor’s videos on dry eyes, & consulting with your doctor, rather than relying on physical therapists for dry eye issues. I watched one eye dr warning against putting much pressure directly on the cornea at all, especially after applying heat since warmth can make the already-pliable cornea even softer, possibly leading to a condition called keratoconus.
@@carlah2167I was referring to the physical therapist manually rubbing his eyes with several fingers, in a random way. I was not referring to the device. If you watch licensed eye doctors demonstrations, they direct patients to use your non-dominant hand & only use one finger to very gently, slowly, & carefully trail your finger downward to release the oils.
Do you know if anyone with Sjögrens has tried this massager? I have dry, painful, eyes and I’m wondering if this could possibly help stimulate my eyes to produce more tears.
I am a thicko 😂 I've been trying all day to figure out how to get this chair up for the first time, then I looked a a few videos on RU-vid, then I came across your video and I done it in 10 seconds. Great job guys, thanks for sharing. It's a brilliant chair, only negative I would say is that I have to push back hard to lie backwards, but that is probs just me, i am only of slim build. I'm hoping it will slide easier the more I use it 🤞😊 Thanks again 👍
Looking for one of these for the office so I can keep active while seating. I like the desk cycle for how it appears to exercise more muscles and closer to actual cycling but I'm concerned about my knees hitting my desk top. There's some cheapo and basic ones on Amazon around $40-$50 that I was curious about trying out before committing $200 for one of the higher end models. Those cheap ones any good?
