I can't understand how is your question related to the video but here's not just 1 but quite a few of those muslim majority countries not relying on oil : Turkey: Strong in industry and tourism. Malaysia: Known for manufacturing and electronics. Indonesia: Diverse economy with agriculture and manufacturing. Bangladesh: Rapid growth in textiles and garments. Jordan: Growing tourism and IT sectors.
This is a common misconception. It was not a constitution. It was a broad agreement with some domestic allies at the time. The concept of a constitution never existed until the west decided that they were necessary. Otherwise no khilafah ever had it. The broad framework that was a guideline/restraint on the power of any government was the madhhab it followed. If it followed the Hanafi madhhab and the ruler wanted to do something that was radical it would be refused by the scholars saying that the Hanafi madhhab does not allow such a thing. I am not blaming you at all. But please be aware that we do not look to the west as our standard and find our self worth by saying that we did something the west likes but we only did it before. Normally it would be okay if it was factually accurate but here there was no dustoor in the Ottoman Khilafah or before that. None of the Khulafa ar Rashidoon had a constitution to restrained their power. The most you can say is that our constitution and restraint is the Quran and Sunnah. And if you want to be more specific, this Islamic government followed this madhhab which curtailed the power of the state.
