Truly, love is the answer - let's find a way to share the love and commitment of John Denver. Dear friends, and those who seek to leave a better world for our children and grandchildren, this is a place to come and listen and reflect on the deep and important messages John Denver wished to spread across the world. It is in his songs and they will live forever. This is also a place to come and enjoy the fun that he brought out in his shows. A place for just pure enjoyment supplied by such a great entertainer. A large focus is to provide shorter excerpts of his work so that the each video is a single highlight. Occasionally I may add a personal favourite not JD related. All because -Love is the answer. Check out my "PLAYLIST".
What a beautiful gift God gave us with John Denver ! He brought love peace and glorious words to remember now in 2024 with so much to have on our hearts and minds. Sad to have lost him so young. Yet here I am at 75 still blessed to enjoy such a marvelous experience with his timeless songs and wonderful personality. Blessings and peace to all who seek.❤
What memories I just stirred up from so long ago. My intro to JD was hearing "Welcome to My Morning" many times at an EST seminar. He was listed as on the board of EST in the folder I had. So I wrote him a letter complimenting him for that song, and I received a signed postcard back. No awe no gaga just respect expressed. It was only later that I discovered he was a reigning -super star. I didn't know, not a clue, I've never been very musical and didn't even listen to music on the radio, I think because I wrote to him through EST, he , (or his secretary,) answered.
For a brief moment at our group picnic lunch on the roof of the auditorium for the First Windstar Symposium, 1986, I asked John, face to face, Why are you teaching "you and me," when you know "you are me.?" And he said to me, " 'You are me' doesn't communicate yet." I was a part of Windstar, and attended 8 of the 10 symposium, very few have noticed that he was first a Spiritual Master teaching a huge following. Timely Spiritual knowledge is woven into his music. Study his lyrics. John did a seven stop speaking tour in nations around our world, and spoke out in prophecy to save our Mother Earth. As he put it, "standing in fear and trembling." He didn't sing at all in them. He knew God used him and was directing him. At the first one I had decided I wasn't going to go, and suddenly I just had to be there and got in my car and went, it was at or near Vail, Colorado. I ended up on about the center front edge of the upper balcony, and as he spoke a tremendous stream of "chi" energy flowed through me to him the entire time he spoke. I was in a place where I wouldn't be noticed with my hands outstretched. I once watched him teach a group of younger children, gathered to be a chorus behind him, to sing a song as a prayer. It was between takes for a Christmas special being filmed in the streets of Aspen. Peace.
The original by Guy Clark. It is best enjoyed with a HQ stereo system or headphones as Guy Clark didn't just write songs, he crafted every note for a purpose. PS Listen to the very end enjoy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hbGUUYesS_8.html RIP Guy Clark November 6, 1941 in Monahans, TX May 17, 2016 in Nashville, TN

Talented musician , singer/singwriter was John Denver what a talent he was , and you look at todays so called talent its like night and day . Music made today no one i know inc myself who would even switch on . Its worst ever sadly but we do still listen to the great songs and stars from 60s, 70s and 80s music .
Takes me instantly back to watching cities and landscapes go by out the window on the way to Florida in the 1970s. My mom has just gotten the tape of this on a stopover at my aunt's house and played it all the two days it took us to get there. This is q beautiful version!
Am weeping torrents. I used to dance my baby around the living room to this song. She died when she was 4 years old. I’ve thought of this as “our special song”. “If I should live forever and all my dreams come true my memories of love will be of you” That has always been what I hoped for her - that she knew how loved she was - and still is. Hearing you dedicate it to mothers was very moving for me. Thank you.
A classic song, so beautiful, it certainly makes you feel mellow. It's timeless. John's band are the best, you don't hear music like this anymore. Take a bow John. God bless.
