Hi Corey i installed the 84mm big bore kit and it wont start...tightened the spring of decompressor started but very difficult...after a week same thing wont start...hit the ignition exhaust backfires and wont start.Any suggestions?!might be from wrong valve clearance?
@@Lawrench00 it starts if i push it with gear...if the timing was wrong it wont even start like that...am i wrong?thanks for the immediate response buddy
Just bought a kayo kt250 it has the fast ace suspension i need stiffer springs for my weight i am a big guy where do i go to get sprigs or are the name brand bikes i could cross reference to get the springs i need
@@RBLUS_TY I’m not sure what you mean. I’d suggest getting the swap done and running good first, then add a CNG kit after its all sorted and running good. Biggest thing is to not be tempted to turn up the CNG. 50/50 at cruise speed is the absolute max you want, which is probably less than 10% CNG at full throttle.
I’ve got those forks on my GPX . They work ok but I was thinking they could be softer . After checking out your video I think I will just ride it as is . They are way to complicated compared to the old school forks .
@@Lawrench00 which exactly 2.5w brand have you used? I have what appears similar fork on SWM Superdual and MOM recommends 5w Motul. No joke but different brands differ wildly on what they consider 2.5/5w weight, there's a list somewhere..
DatBikerDude Definitely gives this motor the extra compression that it needs to really perform like it should. Great torque from bottom to top. Perfect for single track.
For the record - GPX is now using the SCZ forks on all of their bikes. Much better for trail riding and service, I have swapped a set of WP Aer forks onto my bike.
Hey Corey, thanks for your video. Do you know if the compression adjustement screw is on top or bottom of these forks? And the rebound one then? Thanks
MrFarscape40 With FastAce you really don't know what you have until you tear into them. As this video shows, they are tougher to work on. FastAce also has no real way to order parts- they just sell you complete forks. GPX no longer uses FastAce-I believe they ship with SCZ forks which I liked much better based on one test ride. I'm actually going to swap these out. They work very well, but I want something more serviceable.
Corey .H I honestly think I’ve read every article and watched every video and I haven’t heard or seen any bad reviews. None that are bad enough to shy me away from them. I’m just wondering about the suspension. I’m looking for more of an easy trail bike ,not an Mx bike ,but a bike that can get it done none the less.
Thanks for the video. Are the seals 47/58/10 -- 90 durometer? (I've been told any less and they'll burst). Any chance on a spare parts list or sizing for the o-rings?, thanks again.
How are you liking your FSE 250R? I've been doing research trying to decide if I'm going to ditch my beloved '99 DR350. Nice video, that trail is gorgeous - I'm jealous!
