So this video was originally(?) uploaded about 8 years ago (maybe longer, considering the possibility of reuploads.) It's a little far back, beyond the point where AI was commonplace, but I'm having trouble finding when/where this was made by Dan himself. Can't find the lyrics as coming from another song, etc. Just curious how this song came about, is all. It's also like 7am and the caffeine is finally wearing off, idk. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be eternally grateful.
I think i remember Dan talked about this on Game Grumps, he recorded this and never intended it to be put out there. This is something he did on his own, not an official collab. Its definitely not AI. I love this version of the song.
@@an3582This was a time I think after Skyhill broke up initially that he was searching for bands to be apart of so he had made a sample for Ratarat but I think they declined it. So I want to assume this was recorded in about 2007 or early 2008 because the NSP channel was made in October 2008 but wouldn’t upload until 2009.
Question. This, the one called “backside” and the power rangers theme… are they remixes of some kind or did he do these vocals for this channel, or some other project? Where can I find the song or songs from which these vocals originate? And are they available on Spotify or anywhere else?
In middle school I once used up all my family's data because I fell asleep to this song and had it looping all night. Still like to come back to this song every few years. Glad it's back up!
my brother showed me this version like six years ago, bc he was a dan avidan fan and i was really into ratatat. all this time later the loud pipes original sounds emtpy to both of us w/out Danny's voice. so glad they put the video back up <3
This reminds me of the stoic adult dog (Brian) that just sits there as the puppy (Dan) runs and jumps around him just as happy as a puppy can be trying to get the adult dog to play. I love these guys. Too fricken cute. 💜
Ay there's definitely confusion as to who this man is or why he's singing and why there's different versions of the song. Ratatat is a "noise" band. Dan (GameGrumps/NSP/StarBomb... and Skyhill) is a singer. When he was fresh to music, he had mentioned once long ago that he tried to audition FOR Ratatat showcasing vocals on this song. They didn't let him in but were cool with each other going forward. This isn't to go into the weird stuff that surfaces and is uncertain about the guy in the last couple years. I don't know much of that since I've stopped being a gamegrumps fan. And I could be wrong about this song itself, this is just a vague memory of the history of this particular version. It's likely not gonna be on Spotify unless someone attempts to upload it for everyone to listen but that probably won't fly for too long. There's for sure some legal stuff since this isn't "official". Whether you like the guy or not, I know I personally like this song at least.
