Democrats always wanting to raise their salaries and our taxes, but not working on what the people need. Delaying and distracting this meeting talking about landfill issues they do not care about and all that silence. All done so they could try calling in a deciding vote to drive over, for their $alary increase. Wish they put that much effort into something that benefits the people. They should have a special board meeting on fixing the water reclamation issue in Homer, not on increasing their own salaries. If the vote had passed would Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant have said she made an oopsy and vetoed later? She did that on the 143rd expansion. She should be embarrassed to sit in that chair.

Talk about a complete disconnect amongst a board. 19 people going in 19 different directions with one dictator who needs to resign. How do you mistake a multi million dollar 5 lane change 3 days later. But yet you're the first person to want to escort people out for their opinions.

Having a new great big building is great but there should be a health dept dr. office in EVERY town across our county. We shouldn't have to go to a centralized building that's inaccessible to most, without a car. It would make a lot more sense if we brought a small office to each big town & referred more complicated cases to the main building.

Any sane person knows the public sector benefits as practiced in the state of Illinois cannot continue. This presentation omitted a well known elephant in the room when it comes to Will County politics. The Village of Homer Glen pays well under 5 million dollars for police protection under a Sheriff's Department contract. Surrounding communities pay far more providing their own Police Departments even when excluding building costs, liability and the SLEP pension expense. Until this is explained by the Will County Board it is hard to take their concerns on Sheriff Department budgets with a straight face.
