@Cerby9 It's been awhile so maybe I'm misremembering. I usually run in and immediately around the building to the right so I can kill them one by one starting with the one... starting with the axe knight I think(?) Dark souls 3 was fun. I've been playing Elden Ring lately (not the dlc though)
@wrathofainz That's a fair strategy, I usually rush the first 2 and then sneak up on the 3rd without a fight. But the best way is using a little Pyromancy to charm one of them to attack the other and kill the Victor. Then just charm the 3rd and attack him while he stands there. Can't remember the Pyromancy spells name, but it looks like a red orb. I wish I could get back into Elden Ring, I had been doing a run where I recorded the defeat of every boss, but my data got wiped and I lost a lot of footage and game data, including a really cool challenge run for DS3 my friend concocted. Anyways because of the data loss, my video series, which had accumulated about 140 bosses so far, had to be put on hold indefinitely, and I lost all progress. Perhaps I should get back to it, though. I just really don't want to fight Commander Niall again.
@Cerby9 💀 data corruption blows. I had an issue a few months ago that almost had me abandon the Xbox console all together. I dug my old xb1 out of a box (I'd been mostly playing starsector on pc and FFXIII on ps3)... I start it up to find I've been 2fa locked out of my account with an old phone number nobody has anymore. I tried everything including 2 kinds of customer service. They just point you to their online account recovery form where you enter all of your information and it proceeds to do nothing... So that's gone. All of the "purchases"... time for never buying anything that isn't a physical copy (and pirating everything else)...

You mean, how did I access the dlc? I just downloaded it originally, I believe, then got access. Might not be available depending on the system you are using. I'll help if I can further.

Yeah, pretty much. SPOILERS! It's revealed later that the computer is behind everything. So him accusing you of cheating honestly fits given that context.
I know you're talking to your friend while playing, but it kinda gave your video an interesting touch, as if you're talking directly to the viewer. I still don't under what's going on in the game but the effects provided a nice, spooky feel. I was totally taken off-guard the moment the immersion was broken. All in all, this was fun.

Yeah, if this fight had been anywhere but MMBN1, then it could have gone either way. Because Area Grab doesn't go away in MMBN1. Glad I could provide a balanced mid level match.
That he is, Sonic Wave/Dyna Wave is a good chip to use against him, as is GutsMan. Also, remember that Electric moves do double damage to him since he's water. So try to shock him to hold him in place, then hit him hard. Hope that helps, good luck!
@Xenohaste True, but since I have a more aggressive strategy that relies on me to use ground based attacks as well, it isn't viable for my approach. It is another option though, thanks for the idea!
@@Cerby9 there's not that many bosses in the series that you can beat with x panel but the one's that are countered by it can't do anything about it most of the time. Sharkman, punk, and topman are the most notable ones.
@Xenohaste Doesn't Punk have one or two non ground based moves? Like his punch move? Still, I need to consider geddon 1 & 2 and x panel more, it seems. Thanks again for the info!
Dodge gives you invincibility frames, instead of retreating with dodge I would attack then roll through him, attack then roll through. His later swings will damage behind him as well, so you gotta be quick.
A fair point, this was my first initial win against the boss as I was still learning how to do the combat effectively. I did utilize the "dodge through the boss" tactic on some of the other fights, but with Gerrod I felt that a different tactic was more helpful. Still, I appreciate your advice on the matter, thanks!
@Matt Matter Same here, took me 3 tries to beat him, and found him to be a bit too tanky for the second boss. Doesn't help his huge reach and how he starts jumping like mad on phase 3, slowing down the fight even more. Thankfully most of the other boss fights aren't nearly as slow or feel like a battle of attrition, except for possibly Miriel.
The real trick is learning when to hit the dice to get the number you want. Once you control the dice, it gets a lot easier. Use King Dice clapping his hands as a indicator for when to hit the dice to get a 1, 2, or 3.
man does not want to get wet at all. sucks you got stuck in a load loop. weird considering Halo did checkpoints better as if you died in rapid succession it would revert you a little further back to avoid redoing the whole level. IIRC i think it was if you died within 30 seconds or less 5 times if the checkpoint set you near aggroed covenant then it would kick you back a few more feet in attempt to not instantly have them aggroed. something like this is definitely needed when trying to play on Legendary difficulty (i had to Co-Op Halo:CE on it as the second level had me dying quickly) I never actually played Alan Wake as it went under my radar at the time of its initial release but I hope to cover it someday just as a quick pick up or experience.
Honestly, you can skip it. It's pseudo story is the most interesting thing about it. There a few enemy types and they get pumped out like crazy. Combat is either extremely hard or easy if you figure out HOW to do it. And other than Barry ( Alan's best friend) most of the characters aren't very memorable. I was really looking forward to Alan Wake but man was I disappointed. Not enough to stop playing, but I doubt I'll ever play it again. Maybe your experience will differ, but try to get it cheap if you can. Control is WAAAAY better and it's in the same universe as Alan Wake. Def suggest that game instead. Thanks for comment btw!
I can absolutely agree that the music is fantastic! Whoever composed for Aggro Crabs game did a great job! And yes, Vested Marv, Final Boss, 401 Caves, Joblins dungeon, Caffiend 100x, and Winkydink dungeon are among my favorites. But Fish People ( Hub Music after you beat Marv the first time. ) is probably my pick for number 1. Will be keeping a eye out for their next game for sure!
You're welcome! But I don't think it is labeled as music in the game. If you turn off the sfx you can't hear this song unlike every other boss song. So while I hope you find it, It will be very unlikely. Regardless, happy hunting!

When I tried to turn down my sound effects nothing would play during the boss. So that is probably why it's not in any OST. So, sorry it has sound effects but the full song is there. Hope you enjoy!
Thank you for your comment Q Games! Been a big fan of PixelJunk Shooter 1, 2, and Sidescroller when they were first released on PS3! I also remember the PixelJunk Playstation Home location as one of my few hangout spots! PixelJunk Shooter 1 & 2 was a mild difficulty space shooter thah helped me get into much harder bullet hells later on. It was also wildly creative and very fun to play and I liked it so much that I bought Sidescroller. Sidescroller was fantastic! I remember I struggled with it while I beat it on Easy and Normal. The bosses were pretty interesting but the final boss and the music during the fight were so incredible that I can never forget it! And then when you beat the final boss, having the whole game invert colors when you play on Hard was so cool! Sadly no matter how hard I tried, I never beat Hard difficulty However, I did get close with only one segment of the final boss left! Ah well, I will never forget that game... Thank you again Q Games for all that you've done and continue to do. I thought your company was gone for good. Now that I know thatt it's still around I'll be keeping a eye open for future games on PSN. Take care out there Q Games! I look forward to your next project!
Deathbird is absolutely one of the more dangerous and disturbed looking bosses in Elden Ring. It also only appears at night, in random locations, multiple times. Not a nice boss to be sure.
This in my opinion, while creepy, is my favorite boss in the game! So much is going on with the students and Rennala. Plus the second phase, which I beat with only 1 heal left my first try, has her summoning past bosses while she uses magical attacks from a distance. I get your concerns. But you can't deny it's a awsome fight!
