You cannot own land other than through a Thai company that will cost you monthly on top of all other costs. A company that has thais' at 51% owning your company, YES, YOUR Company you can only own 49% and they can change the rules at anytime leaving you without a home or investment. They want it all and give nothing as I have seen over the last 25 years. As a tax paying company owner, I have no more rights here after 25 years than if you got off the plane and landed here tomorrow. I have had to report to immigration every 90 days for 25 years or lose my visa and get kicked out of the country and oh, lose your job, then you have 7 days to leave thailand and lose your non B working status only to come back as a tourist then having to go through the whole 3 month Non B permit all over again. If you get the feeling you are not as welcomed here as they are in other countries, you are not wrong
