Live To Farm is a new Reality Series on Discovery Channel & RFD-TV that follows the lives of everyday farming families. It takes a family to raise a farm! They work hard and play even harder.
I bought my first 110 acres when I was 21 I am nowI own 270 acres. My brother and I own480 acre in a partnership. My mom and da who is deceased owns about 4000 acres in central Mo. My dad bought his first 40 when he was 21 years old for $69.00 per acre. I bought my first farm at 21 years old at $700.00 per acre. Buy one farm pay it off and buy another . We also lay field tile pour concrete and have 300 hives of only bees. My nephews have farmed 600 acres for our Family Farm LLC. They both have College degrees.
There's a woman from Lebanon who is saying American women are too much like men and they belong in the kitchen. She's singled out Hannah "Catfish Girl" Barron. Yep, American women are tough and I like them that way.
Wow every thing your dad said was just pure wisdom .you and your family are so inspirational. Things you say and do goes right to the ❤. Keep up the good work. God bless all of you!
Thank you Grayce and family and all the farmers that put long hours in and sacrifice a lot to bring your hard labored harvest to everyone's kitchen table ! God Bless you all.... Great video's for awareness for what it takes to run a farm ! Never ending tasks.,....I tip my hat and say thank you !
Wow, I think this is a wonderful video family farms, are getting far and few between, this is a great tradition, and I should be kept up and I’m sure your father is very proud of you,, and what the heck I’m very proud of you that you kept this tradition going that’s wonderful
That was one of the best shows I have seen on RU-vid. You are a beautiful young lady and I think you made the right choice. It's in eyes and heart to work alongside your dad and he's proud of you. Can't wait for the next video.
Such a great video, I absolutely love being a subscriber. Warmest regards to you and yours from this fourth generation southern Alberta farmer and rancher.
...ma'am, i have no idea if your eyes will ever see this. But I want you to know just how lucky you are. Your father is the kind of father I wish I had had. Mine beat me till the blood ran. Yet, your dad taught you, guided you, and help shape your choices. I hope you realize just how lucky you are. Please walk up to him, wrap your arms around him, hug him tightly, and tell him thanks. Just me from Texas. ScottishxPride, Tx.
I’m a young guy that has had a recent big career change and have decided that I want to restart my family’s farm and be the fourth generation to run it. It’s 100 acre farm in north Florida partially planted in pines currently. But screw all the assholes with their sexist comments. I’d go crazy to meet a beautiful girl like you down here in Florida/South Georgia that would come farm with me. So as someone that’s grown up around agriculture, but mostly been on the outside looking in, do you have any advice for me to find the farm girl of my dreams? Anyways, love your content, keep up the great work!! God bless 🙏🙏
Hi there. My. Name is. Charles wade Linn jr. And I. Live in. Abbleen Texas usa. Ok and. I. Am. 59 years old. And. Not. Married. And I. Don't have a. Girlfriend. Or a. Wife. Ok 👍👍👍
Farmers families usually consist of all boys or all girls or a mix, so you have no idea if any of them want to farm. You give choices and hope someone will be interested in doing it. Some other RU-vidrs have gone to school to learn better techniques to help further the farm for years to come. I wish you well on your journey in the next generation and maybe another sibling will be interesting in helping out too..
Glad to find your RU-vid page think it’s great to see a good farmer and welder I spent 26 years as a welder now I am trying to garden I have a farm all cub and love it.
I have watched the video ! I have a question: have you heard about koosseryfarm, which is a tool that enables to regularly check the health of corn crops ? Any idea ?
Really great video! Video processing is really great! Now to the content :) When i see those monster machines, i wonder what you think about "soil compaction" - i dont know if thats the right term, i mean that when the crossing heavy machines compact the soil and then even after rain when you have puddles in the field a few inches below this puddle is ground perfectly dry. Last thing that caught my attention is cutting down and burning tree. You dont think it will cause wind and water erosion and loss of species diversity? Here in czech republic, we still curse of 40 years of communust government, how they destroyed our contry. As one example, they destroy "meze a remízky" little island of three and bushes between fields and that start massive wind and water erosion. On google map you can see it on czech an austrian border. On czech side is for example barelly 4 huge fields and on austrian side are millions of little field. In result on czech side you cant grow anything without supplying tons of industrial fertilizers, because the entire fertile layer of soil was blew and washed away
Ty for being so generous, sharing all this.. ..this beautiful story! - you have an awesome family! Coming from a big family myself(we were 11 kids), so I can fully relate to and value that part. I was truly touched watching this - heartwarming!
