A few years ago, I relocated to sunny Malta from the United Kingdom and before I made this decision, I spent literally hundreds of hours online trying to find as much information as possible about all aspects of life in soon to be my new country of residence. Now the time came for me to share my own insider experiences, thoughts, and knowledge about all aspects of relocating and living in Malta as an expat to help others live like a local and enjoy life-changing moments on this magical exciting multicultural island. In this vlog I will cover everything from finding a well-paid job in Malta, finding an apartment, the best areas to live, everyday shopping, cost of living, leisure activities, the health system in Malta, and much much more.
So, if this sounds interesting to you, please subscribe & I'll see you in the comments.

Thanks for your information, i will stay in Malta in October to November, and i want to find a share apartment, i m appreciate if you can offer me some more information about renting apartment, thanks.
Hello! I would recommend searching for a room on Martetplace (facebook), as this is the most dinamic and popular platform here in Malta. But dont pay in advance - best to see the room and then make a quick decision. Good luck!
The only way I can help anyone in your position is by trying to provide you with information. What is your level of English, education? What can you do? Your skills? What kind of job you are looking to get?
It depends on the area, in the northern cities one bed new built (cheapest option) would roughly cost 170k and 2 bed 230k. This is before you pay for the kitchen/bathroom etc. Gozo is much cheaper than Malta. To rent for 1 bed apartment in Sliema you need to pay around 1000 - 1200, Gzira maybe 800-1000, Msida, Sweigi and other locations would be cheaper but not cheaper than 700 Eur per month.
Studios are not easy to find as most apartments tend to be large, definitely larger than in the UK. Plus the prices rocketed in recent months, but I have friends who still managed to find a studio in Msida for 650 EUR, or in Gzira for 750 EUR. I will make a video on studios rental prices in Sliema, Gzira, St Julians areas soon so please keep in touch and check later :)
I do not rent apartments but I am sure you can find whatever you are looking for. I recommend Marketplace on facebook - you just select the area and you will see various options available. Good luck!
