When you set up the multichannel tracks the center channel is panned and not centered. Why does it play back centered when you drop it in the 5.1 sequence?
What would be a good intermediate (not sure Im using the right term) codec? By intermediate what I mean when I use this term is something that is easy to edit and mostly something that doesn't significantly degrade if I render it multiple times by moving it through different software. I can accept a bigger size, but I wouldn't want more than 10x in size. Ideally 3 to 5x the size of an x264? I always thought prores is that, but I'm not sure and also there are a bunch of different Prores files. How about Prores 422 LT? I can except a tiny bit of degradation, but not as much as with h264. Another question would be is it ok to convert 8 bit h264 420 into Prores 10 bit 422 LT to use it as an "intermediate codec" as I understand it? Would it hurt the colors in any way? I know that you explained some of that in this video, but I'm a beginner, so I might not have understood everything you said.
I've been trying to export this video for HOURS!!! Turns out I just needed to flip the sequence settings to rec 709 and it works perfectly. Thank you so much!!!
@videorevealed there is a better and a visual way that we can change the metadata view ONLY if Adobe stops being lazy and adds a dropdown list menu of all the saved presets at the bottom of the project window! It can't get easier than that. It's weird that for years Adobe didn't bother to add this SIMPLE feature.
Is there a way to post process the full rez video to a lower rez for review as you can in AE "Post render action - Set proxy" and then process that so you know the full rez is good?
Actually, the original terms was different. And even if they do not scan our hard drive, they scan our system. By the way, the government sued Adobe because of their unfair cancellation policy - which is a fact - and not because of legal rights. Adobe makes pretty good softwares, industry standard and all but they behave as if they were masters on us, slaves. For instance they are aware of many inconsistency amongst Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, After Effects but they insist on these silly things. They change their softwares and ignore the customers. And so on. The software giant could be the best thing in computer world but of course, their greed and imperialism destroy everything. Normal human...
Thank you for the video. I would like to know how well this program handles audio bleed when recording multiple people on multiple mics in the same room. Have you had experience with that and how has it gone? In this video, you did mention "varying sources" for voice. I saw that you had two voices, but they seemed to be isolated and recorded separately. Recently, I watched Curtis Judd's video on WTAUTOMIXER, and I wonder if End Boost could be an alternative.
I'm about to leave the ship for good, after thinking about it for many years now. The fact that they removed de Fx label color in premiere 2024 🤦 Now you don't know what clip has what effect on it... I'm done with them, enough is enough. I want stability, i'm done having to find workaround all the time. I'm done having to render and re render and re re re render everything all the time. And I want to save money too. I'd love a video from you : How to completely remove Adobe from your system, because the files are all over the place. I think I will even reinstall my whole system after I cancel my subscription.
I think , the best way, particularly for vertical videos (three videos side by side in the first example) , u may give " Auto resize/Auto Re-frame" a chance first, altering their values in sequence setting e.g 1080 x 1920.. then u might not even need to crop the video or very little if at all it does , secondly importantly, the object wont move outa frame and remain within the frame, unlike they did in this case. Even for the horizontal video (on top of three) u can alter the width (increased) and height (decreased) and then auto resize /reframe. I did try this in another scenario and it worked out the best way to do it . Good video for the beginners though .. they will get to exercise their mind.. Good job done.
Haha, "that should make you feel much better!" lol... yeah, when did a company that is known for lieing and betraying, making it difficult for their customers sound not believable! Seriously why do you even talk about it, when you are not a lawyer?
so how do you fix it? i dont want youtube to turn down the volume of my master because I like it that loud. what's the solution to stop them from doing that?
Please, I need some advice, please. When highlighting text and setting keyframes for the CROP function, the highlight starts to expand beyond the keyframes. This means that the highlight begins 2 seconds after the first keyframe and ends halfway between the keyframes. I have no idea what to do. Do you have any idea what I might be doing wrong?
funny how explicit they are about how they won't use it for "generative" AI. I wonder if there are other types of AI. ah... its probably fine i hardly know anything about the topic.
I have a Lumix R5 which always produces 4 mono tracks (the first two are the left and right channels from the on board mike and the remaining 2 channels are empty unless an additional XLR mike is used. Using the Modify audio channels option I can modify this for each clip down to one stereo clip and assign media source 1 to the left channel and media source 2 to the right channel. This works fine but I cannot do this to multiple clips so have to do it for each clip! . I get the option to select more than one clip but it does not work! Is this a bug or am i not doing it correctly?
Thank you for all your help ... love your content. I'm new to editing .. well, every couple of years I do a project and it's like starting over again .... If I was sitting next to you and talking down your stuff .. I would want you to warm up your Voice, and make it less tin canny. Only suggesting this because you're so good and kind ... it would make it more inviting ( check out Javier Mercedes Vocal sounds ... smooth and rich ) .... look forward to hearing your warm DJ voice : )
Nice gaslighting by just mentioning the harmless use cases and concealing the crucial possibilities. It's like giving your car keys to a guy who claims he only needs the access to be able to drive it into your garage. When the guy runs away with your car, you legally have no chance because you gave him the keys.
there should be a drop down list for the metadata display saved presets just like Avid. It's take no brainer to add it @ the bottom of the project/bin panel. Hope you can request this feature to Adobe!
the sound on youtube is usually set to max, blasting beyond belief... how bad is your sound system that you actually have to increase from max??? Maybe get your hearing checked? How does one set a default sound level to stop the blasting? Now there's something that might be useful...
