Bonsai is not a process, but a journey through your mind and spirit passed into a tree. Come along with me on my journey and let us see where it takes us!
Awesome Matt! And wow these sure have been on a journey, but they got there in the end! The signs should look super cool around your workshop and yeah I we all have a 'bullshit corner' for failed projects 😂
Dude. Care for abit of advice you'll appreciate years from now if you take it? Take that poor baby out of that tiny pot and put it in good organic well drained soil in the open ground preferably else a 100mm pot to 200 and etc. And let it grow for qt least 5 more years before you mess with it. . Now its just a seedling bin a pot and struggling. Leave it and 100 years it'll still be a seedling in a pot. Its in the development stage not the refinement or maintenance stage. It shouldn't see a bonsai pot or inorganic soils for ALONG time yet. Sorry it bucks yo hear I know but... well if nothing else you grt a little practice
That is not bad advice at all and for my larger trees that is what I have done. I even have a little garden were trees are all that is planted and growing to be maintained as bonsai.
I'm loving that brazilian Rain tree Matt. The best thing about a break is you can concentrate on the important stuff and your trees just keep on getting better for 'if' you do decide to retun :)
A Treemason is all youll ever need to me Matt. I see the love you have for your trees and your metal craft ....keep that love, Treemasons will always be there for you. keep growing Matt, time will do the rest. it was a lovely tour Matt 💪💚
It’s good that you know it’s time for a break and doing what you’re doing rather than trying to cram it all in and having no time for anything, best of luck on your adventures dude, thank you for your content so far, hope to see you in chatting away in other people’s comments. 🥃
Great garden tour. thank you for showing us around. Has been a challenging year here in the UK, with colder temperatures, very little sun and lots of rain. It is a lot of work making and editing videos for sure. Enjoy your trees and family time. Take care Matt :-)
Hey Matt! It's pretty obvious that you have a LOT on your plate. I have been taking a break as well, and I totally understand that sometimes you need to step back to move forward. Sometimes, you just need to catch a breath. Be well, and enjoy your family. Cheers from London, Ontario!
Hey Matt, that was a great tour of your garden and nice to see that things are progressing well. I hear you on how making videos takes time and it does. As much as i enjoy doing it, after a while it does seem like a chore and the enjoyment of it starts to fade. Take it steady Matt and come back to filming when the time is right. Even if you don't, you're still a treemason and a good friend 👍
If you are using the hose with city water, try boogie blue from Arbico Organics. Filters out all the chlorine and chloramines, etc.. It will tell you how many gallons the filter will clean. I know that it is a lot.
Out were I live we do not have city water Tom. That is definetly a disclosure I should have noted on the screen though. My well is feed by three springs on my property.
No, it is a taste they have to enjoy. I have a hound mix whos refuses to eat any fruits or veggies, but loves meat and fish. Although that is more odd because normally dogs eat a mixed diet of fruits, veggies and meat.
