I live in a rural area, and on a good day the paramedic response is about 20 minutes.

Problem is, if you are bleeding from the ilic artery, by the time the paramedics get to you, you are toast. The junction tourniquette would be more useful for the immediate responder.

I doubt most ambulances carry it.
