Looks like a great tool! I don't know if you realized this though, when you stick it on the fender or any painted surface, it will scratch it. They could be tiny or not so much depending on how you pulled it off the surface.
They are essentially mosfets that your referring to. Most likely thats not the problem. Typically its the square chips with more pins, like 120ish pins that come loose. Essentially they are the processors. All of these ford radios and any of these years are junk. We replace them almost weekly these days.

Did you ever try taking a good size thick stick and hitting UT against a rock and see if you get a similar sound in return? You see alot of videos of them trying to mimic certain sounds.
Orecks are well built vacuums they are made here in the US but if you have a lot of hair in your house, they will go through the belts and brush rolls. They will also go through belts quite often if you have thick carpet or area rugs, or if my belts change every six months if it doesn’t break.
They are Garbage, My Wife Like Them Because They Re Light. She Owns 4, And I Am Constantly Repairing Them. Thats Why She Has 4, So She Has A Spare While I Fix Them.
