Now imagine us listening to this on a snowed in night of my 4th story "modern" eastern European apartment in a room lit by the TV, laying in a bed next to the window where we can look out and see the heavy snow ontop of all the buildings and blanketing the roads. It's Slightly chilly but we have each other's warmth under the sonic blankey.
It's nothing special. I just drowned a dry guitar tone in reverb for all my trist videos. Edit: I can't remember exactly what I used here, maybe I can look later. I think for all my trist videos, it was: "Archetype Nolly" > "Dragonfly Hall Reverb" And I'd pretty much just use an absurd amount of the reverb. But really, I think any hall reverb would work. Then just double tracked, one panned hard left, the other hard right.
You're talking about the bassline at 0:23? The rhythm is kind of hard to explain in a comment, not that it's very complex though. I'm playing these notes as 8th notes, all on the A string, and sliding up to them: 2nd fret, 4th fret, 7th fret, 9th fret, then 10th fret. The E on the 7th fret I'm only playing for a single 8th note. Also a lot of the sound is coming from the massive amount of reverb I have on the bass, lol.
Thanks. The tone is really simple. I'm using the rhythm amp & cab of the Archetype Nolly amp sim by Neural DSP. Along with an absurd amount of reverb, a very wet mix, specifically, I'm using Dragonfly hall reverb, which is a free plugin.
@@lkshiuxcvy Hell yeah dude, I've been playing with the Soldano 100 sim by Neural DSP, it's great. Might have to check out Archetype Nolly. Great channel. Cheers
Not dsbm, but I would be grateful if you do tabs for Kroda - Похорон Сонця (Funeral of the Sun) (pagan bm) From dsbm I would like to see tabs for Sterbend - Einsamkeit
Pretty close but I think some chords are not entirely correct, for example the first riff is more like: b: 7 5 a: 5 5 E: 0 6 So the second chord is the same but the first chord is slightly different. And btw, you are actually playing the song in 16th notes instead of 8th notes. The tempo is half slower than what you show in your tab. So around 61 bpm.
Yeah you're right about the first chord, I thought it may have been slightly off, my bad. I am playing it in 8th notes though, I'm not playing the upstrokes
@@lkshiuxcvy Yes, I know you are only playing downstrokes but it's still 16th notes. 16th notes means that you are playing 4 notes every beat. Because as I said, the original song is half the speed. It's not 122 bpm, more like 61 bpm. So, you strum the chords twice as often as you should.
I understand what you're saying. I just opened up the daw session and re-recorded a riff as quarter notes at 122 bpm, just to see if it was accurate. And yes, you're right, the riffs are half the speed in the original, my bad. Though, 8th notes at 61 bpm, or quarter notes at 122 bpm, it's the same, you know this.
This channel is honestly underrated. All of your videos are awesome. I’d be amazed if I see a “Trist - Sebevražední Andělé 2” tab video. We appreciate your effort!
Hey, thanks for the tabs! Keep the videos coming so I can discover new songs :), since you are taking requests may I recommend Poslední Cesta also by Trist or Life Revisited by Make a Change...
@@gotrxphall1664 Thanks for watching, Yeah, I think I could do those songs. I ordered a camera, I'll probably get it within a week, that way I can add actual footage to my videos and then I'll upload some more. I'm working on a more general dsbm tutorial video in the mean time, which hopefully I'll be able to finish soon. :)
@@gotrxphall1664 I've made quite a few already actually, but never released anything. And just instrumentals because I'm terrible at vocals right now lol.
