Hello and welcome to my fishing RU-vid channel! My name is Noah and I mainly fish freshwater ponds around the northern Virginia area. I post content of my trips here for fun and to help share my fishing knowledge with others! Don't gate keep PLEB
15:42 whoooo I would have peed my self, having a half ounce treble bait tossed at bare legs lmao! Looks like a fun day in a beautiful spot. I wouldn't worry about the place getting crowded because of the video. Crowds come and go and the fish keep biting, but I don't talk about my spots locations either. People need to explore for them selves and have fun that way. Those ascend kayaks are great fishing platforms, just tell people to stay away from the 9R model because it has hull integrity problems on the seat/deck area. Scupper plugs are meant to be conditional use: do you need more buoyancy at the cost of stability(heavy weight load), put them in. Do you need more stability at the cost of buoyancy? Leave em out. You can use them to balance your boat, say if you have more weight in the back, you may want the plugs back there only to keep the rear higher. Unless you are REALLY loaded down and approaching the weight capacity, you should never really need the plugs. I've never used mine and its nicer to have the deck drain on its own.
Thanks for the scupper input that makes a lot of sense. I have been in a few paddle kayaks but this is my first time owning one. For the price I got it, im not complaining but, definitely the worst ive personally been in. looking to get a 106 120 pdl soon for saltwater Chesapeake bay bridge stuff.
@@cnoahsfishes there were some big bass on beds in the direct sun, and I roasted myself trying to get them to bite 😂 a lot of them had lock jaw though and wouldn’t hit anything in my tackle box.
@@cnoahsfishes Crap. Done great with the savage glide swimmer but wanted to branch out. Recommend the glide swimmer in the 8”! Thing works great and I throw it near narly heavy cover, only $25 so not bad at all if I lose one
You are chillin. I’m sure almost any glide that isn’t $100+ will cast the exact same. Highly recommend the 7” shine glide. I use a 7’9” extra heavy shimano Zodias 150xg curado dc and 17lb. Caught several nice bass and never broke anything.
Hey what is that pillar thing in the water? I saw one at my local lake and I don’t know what it is, i thought it might be where they release the stock fish but I don’t know.
I have kayaked right up to it. Its a big drain. I believe its function is similar to a pool skimmer. This drain removes floating debris like floating leaves or algae.
