Welcome to the Bar SZ Ranch! We're the Borland family and we are so excited to share our story with y'all! Our family moved out onto a ranch property 10 years ago and we have spent those years working toward our impossible dream of collecting and caring for all kinds of animals, running a business, and doing life together as a family. It's been quite the adventure with failures, tears, blood, sweat, and incredible memories all along the way.

Because we care so much about family, we want to invite you into our house and ranch and show you some of our favorite habits and activities that we do together to create memories and build connections. We hope that watching our story as we adventure together and laugh, cry, make mistakes, fail, and get back up again inspires and encourages you all on your own journey. We're all in this together!

If you enjoy what you see, like our videos and subscribe to our channel for some refreshing encouragement and joy in your daily life. We'll see ya!

Fun fact: there are six extant camel species under four genera: the Vicuna (Vicugna vicugna), the Alpaca (Vicugna pacos), the Guanaco (Lama guanicoe), the Llama (Lama glama), the Dromedary (Camelus dromedarius), and the Bactrian Camel (Oreocamelus bactrianus).

the captions say horse gates but is it gait? which is the correct term? please make sure your captions are accurate. there is nothing more annoying than that... except when there are NO captions available AT ALL.

Good job mate....quick tip for ya....get in the habit of only putting your toe in the iron as you get on and off ...you had to use your hand to remove the stirrup the first time you stepped down off your colt. Keep up the good work!

First time here 👋🏽 Do you have a video on good healthy discipline for a 1.5 year old putting her butt at me when brushing her? It’s a new behavior for her (never had an issue with her before). She actually kicked up at me, while brushing last week.

Thanks for that... I learned stuff today. I'm Australian and have had limited experience with horses... I used to drive a horse and carriage for a friend (weddings etc) but not spent much time actually riding. I didn't know Americans had their own style of riding, gaits, etc. What you call "English" is all we see here, and I thought that was all there was. Thanks for showing me otherwise.

I always have a rope halter on my mare when I’m riding regardless. Case in point: my mare slipped her bridle and I was able to snap her reins onto her halter loops and rebridle her.
