You should check out the former Burger King and the former Pizza Hut over in Kingston. They are right across the street from each other. The Pizza Hut is right next to a KFC that's still in operation.
Awesome dude! When this was a Burger King, my mom and I would go to the movie theater behind the mall, and then stop here. I actually worked at that Chick Fil A for a little bit. Sad to see the area I grew up with change so fast.
Hanover Mall! This was my childhood mall :( I went there before my life started, and I went there until the end. I'm going to get the old logo tattooed on my arm pretty soon! Thanks for bringing back the memories!
I miss the water fountain they had inside the center of the Hanover Mall. Everyone was upset when they got rid of the fountain in 1999. That was a beautiful water fountain inside that mall.
The Ames near me became a bowling alley a couple years later then a Peebles, right next to a Dollar Tree. You can check it out if our interested at the West end Plaza in Brodheadsville, PA.
I used to shop at that Ames hundreds of times in the 1990's. I loved shopping at that Ames, I wish it never closed. That Ames location closed in 2002 and became Walmart in the fall of 2004. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanover_Crossing
@@Holiday_Studios I don't think that credit union was ever a McDonald's. The only McDonald's I remember was inside the Hanover Mall but they closed in 2012 or 2013, and then there's one a mile up the street. www.mcdonalds.com/us/en-us/location/ma/hanover/1392-washington-st/1795.html www.yelp.com/biz/mcdonalds-hanover-9
I habe lived in Rockland my whole life till last year, and i got confused with that. I used to go to that burger king rarely, and when i saw it was closing there was rumors that it would turn into something else. I thought taco bell, my family thought KFC or Chick-fil-A, but to hear that it was abandoned made me do a double take! As its on the busiest road or intersection in Rockland, and for it to be just abandoned like that got me confused 💀
I have no idea, I've never been inside a Cielo Mexican Restaurant before. Haven't been to that restaurant since it was a KFC in 1997. Maybe I'll visit Cielo Mexican Restaurant in the future. But here are some reviews: www.yelp.com/biz/cielo-mexican-restaurant-braintree?osq=cielo www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g41474-d8761239-Reviews-Cielo_Mexican_Restaurant-Braintree_Massachusetts.html
I've seen that too. There's actually an article about it: "A proposed pot shop gets Quincy board's approval" www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=www.patriotledger.com/story/news/2023/12/15/marijuana-pot-dispensary-chill-and-bliss-quincy-ma-recreational-retail-cannabis/71908119007/&ved=2ahUKEwiC6PyA-quGAxU6kYkEHRi-ASwQFnoECBQQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0yU550ruwLpyhzeosL5qmL
They closed the one in the Weymouth Landing unexpectedly in 2021, after over 45 years in business. I was also shocked when they closed the Chipotle Mexican Grill located downstairs in the South Shore Plaza. I sure hope Johnny Rocket's doesn't close down either, that'd be terrible.
I was thankfully able to visit my local bed bath and beyond when it was closing in seekonk Massachusetts and i made a video. Its now being an ocean state job lot
Great video! I was at a BBB liquidation recently, and it was about as quiet as this one. Even with the liquidation sales, the prices still aren't really worth it
@@kgcabandonedretail i have a few videos on my channel of my Sears. The only thing we really have here in New York is JCPENNEY which there are only two of which I have one in my mall. And I believe a few Macys but sears didn’t survive
@@Eracer590 The only JC Penny I remember near me was in Hanover, MA that closed in 2015. www.patriotledger.com/story/business/2015/01/10/hanover-mall-losing-jc-penney/35561528007/
