CGI Detailing has had the great opportunity to work closely with the Oliver Travel Trailer brand of trailers, providing ceramic coatings to several of these incredible trailers, with many more to come! Both at home and across state lines, we enjoy the adventure of traveling and meeting Oliver Owners while providing a great ceramic coating service with our partner Glidecoat professional ceramic coating.
We share our experiences with these trailers, along with other projects and adventures on this channel.
This is a great video and I learned a lot. There’s way more to it that I thought. And you guys explain it broke out everything very nicely. I wish you were in California. I would be so happy to have you guys help me. I have a 17 foot trailer anyway take care and all the best.
We do recommend getting your trailer coated even if it’s brand new. Ceramic coating helps preserve the finish of your RV. we protect the GelCoat to ensure there is as little wear and tear on the surface as possible to help extend the life of the GelCoat.
How many man hours / days to complete the entire process and what is the cost ? Did you also treat the trailer roof and windows ? Great job. Thank you.
The first application with all of the prep work and coating takes approximately 2 days with four guys working on it. If it comes in decent condition (Minor oxidation) the price for an Oliver legacy Elite 2 is $3,000. The roof is included in the application and windows are cleaned then treated with a ceramic spray coating for hydrophobicity. Thanks for watching!
We start at $3,000 for ceramic coating the Oliver Legacy Elite II. However the price is determined by the condition of the trailer. Here is a link to our Oliver page, we also have pricing for motorhomes and 5th wheels on our website as well! www.cgidetailing.com/olivertraveltrailers
The first application with all of the prep work and coating takes approximately 2 days with four guys working on it. If it comes in decent condition (Minor oxidation) the price for an Oliver legacy Elite 2 is $3,000. The Oliver Legacy Elite is $2,500. Recoating after two or more years is usually around half the price depending on how the trailer has been maintained during that time period. Thanks for watching!
What's not to like! Certainly one can tell just who details Olivers for a living versus one who only sells them - speed of hand movement is the key to getting the job done faster! I'd have heartburn for a week if I ate that breakfast. But I bet that it really smelled good on the grill.
Great work! Our Escape 5.0 had quite a bit of oxidization and I used one of your previous videos to learn how to take the oxidization out. I went back with meguires ultra wax. Maybe next year I can ceramic coat. I did not see the link for the ceramic coat, could you provide that?
Thank you for watching we greatly appreciate it! We can post a link to Glidecoat’s consumer ceramic coating line. It’s not exactly the same as the professional line we use but still a great product, and much easier than waxing! amzn.to/41MghgE
Use these applicator mitts when applying the ceramic coating to get good coverage, and the 160 ML should be enough for your escape for two coats. amzn.to/47blgbG
We currently start at $2,800 for the Legacy Elite II and $2,000 for the Legacy Elite 1. Price varies based on the condition of the trailer and the amount of oxidation present on the surface
We will have to make a video over this topic, thank you for the suggestion! Check out the ceramic page for Oliver travel trailers on our website here: www.cgidetailing.com/olivertraveltrailers
Correct! We apply ceramic coatings to both new and used trailers. A lot of people bring them straight to us after picking up brand new from the factory to get it protected with a ceramic coating
Wish they had shown a little of the details using the clay rub and also what they used on their drill buffing tools. I couldn't tell and some drills looked like it had one kind of brush another different or different buffers. Just not enough detailed info. Otherwise love the final results.
Sorry about that, we had more footage of the clay bar process but it was lost unfortunately. For our compounding step we use a 5”microfiber cutting pad on the Dual action polisher. For the polishing step we use lake country orange polishing pad on the DA. If you check out the first Oliver Ceramic coating video on our page we go into a little more depth on it. Thank you for watching!
Nice job guys! Even in the video you could see the difference. What is a normal price for something that size? What were your thoughts on the trailer? It looked nice.
Thank you! For something this size- the Legacy Elite is approximately $2,000 for two steps of paint correction and ceramic coating. We use Glidecoat professional RV coating. The Oliver brand of travel trailers are some of the best fiberglass trailers we have seen!
We have not yet applied our ceramic coating to any air streams yet. Air streams do have clear coat on them (similar to a vehicle) which means this product would work great!
