@@ohwhoaitzjoe the rim brake frame has been discontinued. I believe the last batch were made around mid 2021. The ones you see online are the disc frames. Those are available with external or internal routing.
Today's Monkeys wouldn't like that wheelset because they are too narrow. Everyone is going for the wider internal width because they have been sucked, or should I say suckered, into what the cool kids use. 🤣
Which spacer do you use....? The spacer in the box are not working. Spacer are not rotating according to the handelbar angle. I really would appreciate any help.
@@cunovonhahn6454 I used the spacers that came with the handlebar. I did notice that unlike most manufacturers there's no guide pins or slots to seat the spacers. I haven't built up the bike yet, most likely going with Black Inc bar stem when I get to it. Assuming the steerer was cut 3-5mm below the top cap you might have to tighten up the preload.

There is a BMC / Alanera Spacer adapater available. I will try that. I think this should work. I will come back to you.
3 questions. (1) What's the weight? (2) How does feel over all. Like even though its an areo bike, how does it feel to you? Lastly, is it value for money?
Why would it be too big frame. It dependant on the rider's height man. If he is over 183 or 185cm and the frame is 57-58 its absolutely his size. Altough, he didn't mention any measurements so its kinda irrelevant.
How are the wheels with crosswinds? I'm debating on going with the velo 6 or the Helix 57D. I love the set apart look of the velo 6 but I don't want any issues with crosswinds.
Why you didn’t weight just the frame without the wheels and handlebars, to do a more uniform comparison, or at least weight then with the same components. Are you building this 3 bikes and making a new video to review their ride characteristics?
Hello quick question for the handle bars did you have to buy separate headset spacers and adapters or the metron ACR has them included in the box ? Lovely build !!
Both FSA SMR and Metron ACR come with spacers but does not include top cover. You need this part www.fsaproshop.com/products/acr-headset-top-cover Another thing, the locating pins on this particular FSA top cover sits at 9 to 3 o'clock position. The Allez headset split-ring holes are located at 5 and 7 o'clcok position. I used an electric hot knife to remove the pins then mixed two-part epoxy to glue them to align correctly. Also, you need something like a Dremel to widen the bottom front section to free up the hydraulic hoses. Without this modification it will pinch and possibly rip later.
You're right, the round ones which are 7x7 is supplied with this frameset. The carbon 7x9 are sold separately. I think it's low key dissing on a customer like "if you can't afford an SL7 then you're probably not going get a carbon saddle so you don't need it"
Tubular yes, they don't expand out that much. Clincher or tubeless no. I had a pair of mavic ksyrium pro carbon ust with yksion pro ust 28mm tubeless. I didn't even air it up the clearance was about 2mm it would definitely rub aired.
