1:39 Passing The Peterhead fish-house on the right. It dates back to 1585, and is still used to smoke salmon (the reed fesh) to this very day. I believe that's some kind of a record.
@@stephenanakie3500 Yeah, probably... and it would be nice if Google Maps was more clear about that, because sometimes it shows time estimations for road trips taking into account both with and without slow traffic; and other times it tells you nothing... even though the time shown seems to be the one just taking into account road speed limits, despite the fact that the traffic layer still shows slow zones along the route!
Thanks for this video! I used to live in Collieston (between Cruden Bay and Newburgh) and regularly used this road. Really interesting to see what’s changed over the years. Nice little nostalgic road trip.
