Not Much Good If It's Running On It's Own Oil!! Five K's Down The Road And You'd Have A Dry Sump!! Why These Manufacturers Keep Running These Machines On Light Oils Is Beyond Understanding!!
Gänsehaut. V8 Turbodiesel 💔 (Diese Maschinen können Millionen von Kilometern. Das ist ökologisch.) Nichts ist wichtiger der LKW/TRUCK. Ohne diese Lastkraftwagen gäbe es nichts. Und das ist sich kaum jemand bewusst. Traurig.
The sound has a lot to do with the firing order which is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 with sound being most notable due to cylinder 7 and 8 firing sequentially, plus the diameter+length of the pipes. Personally, American here, I find the sound of an open pipe Scania V8 to be pretty good. Now before I get burned at the stake, the ol 2-Stroke Screamin Jimmy definitely has the top spot for me with diesel V8's, but for a 4-Stroke diesel I cannot deny the Scania for it's unique and interesting sound.
I get to drive an aged Scania V8 now and then…. Almost 20 years of age…. not pimped or pampered… AT ALL….. With just over 2.000.000 kilometres it is by far the nicest truck I ever got to drive…. not least because of the valve in the exhaust… goosebumps guaranteed!
No. It’s ok though. I used to drive a lifted 70 Chevy with a 350 and dual pipes, was ok. I’ve owned two boats with 351w, sound was awesome on those with marine cam and no muffler. I have also owned two 7.3 Powerstroke diesel with turbo back straight pipe. My current 7.3 came with upgraded turbo and programmer with big exhaust. Above 2500 RPM it doesn’t have an exhaust note, more like a doom siren. Those Volvos sound a little bit like a Holden or something. Definitely not bad sounding.
To je od scény ze Scent of a woman docela skok úplně jinam 😂😂😂😮 Nemám zájem stejně tak…. Si to nechte… tohle jsou ženský = tresty!!! Přesně to do života potřebujete!!! Poradnej trest….
Do not let the revs go down!!! at least 6500rpm never less!!! This engines "pull" a front wheel drive car!!! That needs to have high revs for very good handling qualities as well as awesome stability!!! Saab 2 stroke!!!=a winner!!!😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Haha, a lopey diesel V8 cam. Nice. Also that logging truck mudding with a full load in tow is impressive. These diesel V8s are turning such low RPMs you can practically count the revs yourself.
am I the only one that thinks it sounds like a clapped out Honda Civic with a cheap exhaust. it's just farting down the road 😂 ( don't get me wrong I love the scania for what it is but it definitely don't sound too good)
Very nice to see so many 406 Coupes. Can I add mine to the mix, only a 6 second v6 idle noise. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2gwITUBI2ZY.html
It has an appeal. Nothing can ever beat an angry two stroke Detroit. Not a Cummins, a CAT, surely not a Volvo and never a Scania. I say this with a deep love for Cummins, CAT and Scania, but the 8V71, 92 and 12V71 and 92 cannot be topped.
