Hey From US with a 96, im looking at the CT12B. Is this a good turbo for an other wise stock Prado? Egr deleted with the top mount inner cooler Im knew to these engines but want to learn more, if there are any videos or forums you recommend. My experience is more in VW diesels.
Hey mate defenetly a great turbo look up jhhilux on facebook they export from au to us ive got a mate in canada who has brought the same turbo from them they are an oem fitment just high flowed.
@@TRAV30387 so they said they only do fuel injection so like injectors and pumps but they gave me a name for a shop in US that I should try so going to check with them
So once you have Zeroed the clip on for let’s say 75meters but now your target is at 200 meters and you’ve got to increase the rifle scope elevation, do you have to repeat the zeroing with the clip on or does it match your scope elevation automaticly?
Hey mate I've got a 3k and wanting to do the same turbo setup as what you are doing but looking at the manifold it's abit different. Mine don't have the inlet outlet. Can i still use this manifold?
I'm going to try and do this on my Hiace, I thought I had to take the propeller shaft out but this video shows that it's way easier than that. I reckon I've got no gear oil left inside mine. I watched a crazy russian guy run an old sedan dry with one wheel blocked and one off the ground and it took a beating before it welded itself together. Hopefully not too much damage inside. The only thing that sounds a little different is a shorty pipe, I don’t understand how anyone can say a new pipe sounds any different lol. Every video I’ve listened to of a stock pipe vs X pipe sounds the exact same unless they put on a shorty silencer, then there’s a slight change
Mean Mate. I’m looking at similar set up except I’m getting the 4495 headers. One thing I always do when replacing headers is to knock those frost plugs out on the block and replace with Brass frost plugs. Specially if they are originals. Chances are the heat internally and the heat from the exhaust seem to deteriorate that side often first to start leaking. But great set up. Thanks for the know how😎🤙
You just rotate the kicker until it gets too hard to push, that’s when you pull the decomp lever, that lets the compression out of the cylinder and you are free to kick it with one good one, it should start easy. If not, ur jetting is off
Got a ppd 3", hoodscoop in and grill in front of intercooler out , threw the huge crappy kings spotties placed directly infront of bonnet inlet in the bin...wrapped the air intake and opposing pipe. boost/egt gauge in today to see its making 10 pounds..thermo fan for radiator to go in and want to install spray for intercooler and radiator with atomizing nozzles, either for drags or heat induced emergencies..idle up switch would be cool, and obd sensor bluetooth thingy for console..alas...boost tee and extra psi tomorrow

Cool trucks! I was hoping to see 1KZ tow test 2+ tons of boat! No suck luck. Building another 80 series after I sold my pride and joy safari due to mega roof rust and kids needing dirt bikes! Always wanted 1 of these luxes but wondered how it would tow my boat at nearly 3 ton on trailer
@@ga1e0john35that’s true, max rated tow weight on these trucks in nz is 2500kg. There goes insurance if you case it or some dumb arse causes some chaos
I own a prado rz 1kzte intercooled and 0 to 80 is quick but after 80 car slows down alot and starts to vibrate above 100 what can be the issue love from pakistan brother

Hi, doesn't the boost pressure sensor reading control fueling? You might be upping the boost and bleeding off what the sensor sees, but in turn your reducing the boost fuel compensation and you won't make any more power?
I bought fmf for my yzf 426 in 2000 didn’t fit ,bike was slower put one on my 2019 ktm 300 xc junk didn’t fit right , there junk again everyone raves about them the craftsmenship sucks im a welder i welded like that i would get fired but the point is they fit like dog turd overpriced junk I wasted almost a grand on a junk pipe and silencer I put the stock back on goes way better fits so much better
