That’s a great project! I found these at Lowe’s and I want to make a sort of trade point from them with archery and throwing atlatls. I have some questions: How well does it keep an edge? I heard these are about 1035 steel. What are your thoughts? How did you temper this knife? Thanks! John.
Hammie Luna Hammie Luna He’s showing it to us because he’s proud if what he made, if you don’t like that then don’t comment anything + “Are you just wanna...” and “To someone got jealous” make absolutely no sense what so ever 🙃
My question is why is that diesel opaque. Should be clear with a yellow tinge. But good idea on the plastic pop bottle. Lots of guys use the freezer bag trick too.
Your deck is probably not leveled. Turn in the nut on the long bolt on the center rear of the deck and the nose of the deck will rise. Buy a deck height gauge at a John Deere dealer to check the level.
Adjust the level or "tilt" of the mower deck by turning in the nut on the long bolt that is on the rear/center of the mower deck. I will be double nutting my mower decks soon as I think they keep moving back down. I've ruined two belts by not having the deck leveled.
hi my dog is much biger now at that time maci was about 2 in people years now she is about 4 and i am 8 at that time i was at least 6. she still gets the water !
I have some casters from a Duets/Allison front deck mower I took apart that I plan on installing on the front corners of the 60" deck. The deck does cut a lot of grass, but it's a BIG garden tractor. My neighbors Toro ZTR with a 52" deck can out mow it.
I have the same basic tractor Toro 520xi with 60" deck. It cuts a lot of grass. The front corner deck wheels like to dig into soft ground when you mow in a ditch .
I hear ya. The "Anti-scalp" wheels....lol! Right. I have developed a technique to raise the deck for attacking the slopes to minimize the dig, but it's still a drag....no pun intended haha! Anyway...ya...same machine. Mine just comed with blue paint and different stickers. Awesome machine though. Cut an hour off my mow time compared to my old ingersoll 3018 with the 48" deck.
