Hey, Bo...think of is as 'blues style' 'cuz as you mention Bluegrass...also Old Timey, lots of older Gospel, Country, etc., use the 1, 4, 5 progression. Rasty, minor, over-driven tube amp, Chicago blues is just one version. Just like with harmonica...blues can be sweet, can be dirty. Major blues is great...let the singer or harp player add the minors, if ya want. It mixes well. Cool lesson.
