Another easy thing though: if you know you need to go to Doonakkers-West in 't Hofke, you know you need to take bus 5 't Hofke on the station. So just take any bus that says "### Eindhoven Station" and take the 5 to 't Hofke. That's the beauty about Eindhoven's busnetwork: all busses cycle between Station and Destination. If you live there, eventually you know the routes to their destinations and you know which bus to take from Station. And you always know how to get to Station... It's the OV-hub of the town.
Still half out of the top of my head after all these years: either throught the Strijpsestraat via the DAF-museum to the Kanaaldijk-Zuid or - as I see now a little safer on google maps, but a little longer underway via Cederlaan past the Stadium via the DAF-museum... That's how you get from Het Ven to Doornakkers-West by bicycle :). Mind you, for those who think when they are in a hurry, so take the short road: don't. Just take the safe bicyclepath since you can safely bike faster and you'll be there safer & faster, even though you travelled a bit further. Be wise.
