Mmmm, in my experience, double pass on laminator on thinner paper leaves You with wrinkles. 1 pass is more than enough. (old GBC laminator). I never had problems of lamination un-glueing.
Super useful information, thank you! I'm curious why you had problems with shuffling the 110lb stock when Martin used that one and suggests it. Also I think if anything, the linen stock will be more durable if the laminate is able to melt inside of the little crevices of the texture, but I could be wrong

calculate the cost to do this vs the cost of ordering prints... in time and effort. it's not like they're hand printed. i prefer buying them. however i learned things from this video. good job
Question. I want to make triple layer plain paper/40pound. Is that just three layers of paper? Because I can't find 40 pound card stock. And if so, that makes the plain paper/ 65pound triple layer two regular payer with a 65 pound card stock core?

How well does the lamination last? I was thinking about doing your 3 layer card technique (with linen paper), but I might try this since I have lamination sheets and 65lb cardstock.

First, thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. At home, we have a Hewlett-Packard Envy 5540. It's pretty good at keeping lines straight and is pretty effective at aligning two-sided prints so that any offset is at a minimum. It was also pretty cheap. As for MAKING the card layout, I don't really do that very much. So far, we have been doing print-and-play games that have formatted PDF files that we just have to print. I think, perhaps, we will address that in a future video.
Thank you so much for this information! It helps me to complete my PNP projects, but let me ask you, how can I calibrate the front and back of the cards? Normally, there is a difference of milimiters, but it is visible in some cards.
First, thank you for your viewership. This is a very interesting question. If your printer is consistent in exactly how much the offset is from the edge of the paper, then you might be able to get a measurement of that offset by printing off a couple of test pages. In MS Office, OpenOffice, or some other word processing program, create a two-page document with 0.5 inch margins all around. Then, in the body of the text, create a table on each page that extends to the left and right margins. Start it at the top of the page. Next, print the document twice: once double-sided (flip on long edge) and once single-sided. Use 20lb or thinner paper, if you can. Hold the double-sided paper to the light and observe how far apart the edges of your table are. The left edge of your front table SHOULD line up with the right edge of the back table, but if they don't, you can measure the differential. Placing the two pages of the single-sided copies back to back, you can do something similar. Line up the papers' edges to measure the difference in the table edges OR line up the tables to measure the differences in the papers' edges. Once you have a measurement (and if the offset is consistent for each print job), you can simply trim a precisely-measured amount from the left or right edge of one of your sides before gluing them in place. Remember: Measure twice, cut once! This is a great topic. I think we will explore this in a future video. Thanks again, and keep watching!
Best way do to a good prototype is, A4 Offset 300g printed in front and back. After finish, use a paper varnish, not much, and thats it. You will have sweet deck.
We bought them from Mr. Mitchell directly, at a convention. As to where they can be bought now, we're not sure. There used to be a website, but it seems to have gone down.

Nintendo and namco have sided with Billy. Photographs? You think the color of a joystick from a photograph? It is being investigated for being photoshopped is evidence??? Color makes no difference. Haven't eaten red meat in about 30 years. What I like about TIB is that it gives you a flame-broiled burger taste. Not health food in any sense, but for folks like me who choose to eat at BK occasionally, having a non-chicken, non-fried option is nice. And it tastes pretty good.
While I've not had the Impossible Whopper yet, I have had a 'Beyond Meat' Freebirds Burrito, after trying a sample. While fine in small doses, in a full size burrito, it kinda out stayed it's welcome. I have not repeated the attempt, yet.
